So I had a few people ask me why I bow to the judges before and after my lifts and that is something I learned from competing at international meets. Also after becoming a state judge myself, I know how tiring it is to judge hundreds of people so I always give respect to the judges. So I'm guilty of this as well, but back in the day when I miss a lift, I use to be super pissed & cuss alot, but now a days after maturing into the sport of #powerlifting, there is no need for all of that. Like Bboy Moy said, we need more leaders, not winners. Especially at a meet of around 1200 lifters, where there are many young lifters and new lifters who watch us compete, so we must learn to overcome ourselves when we fail and set an example for future lifters. I mean, thats the most beautiful part of missing lifts or competing and not doing well, it tells you what you need to work on next time so you won't feel like the way you felt when you failed! If this is something that you like, watch the full video here on how I analyze myself, my plans, and just so you all have an insight on what I do after meets. #usapl #rawnationals2016 #journey #life #lostbreed #hmong #stronger #training # https://youtu.be/tmXqGNf8rwo
