he's very fixated on his partner and once he's dating you, he can't even find other people attractive anymore!

he could look at a model, but they'd be nothing compared to you! he just doesn't think anyone prettier than you exists!

eddie also LOVES your family! he's a family man and not only does he want to start a big, happy family with you, but he also adores your family!

he's super close to your father and often hangs out with him, leading to you teasing eddie about only marrying you to spend more time with your dad!

he's also very respectful towards your mother, always bringing flowers and gifts for her when he visits her! and your cousins or nieces and nephews love him too!

honestly, it was your family that pushed the two of you towards marriage! not that eddie wouldn't have wanted to marry you anyways, but having their approval made him propose to you!

You ever think about how Raymond probably tried to keep in contact with Miles after dl-6. How he might have been the one watching and taking care of Miles in those handful of days after the incident before Manfred got him. How they were just two grieving kids and then Miles was gone. Just gone.

And then despite the fact Raymond claims he's been out of country the past few years that probably doesn't mean 7. Edgeworth doesn't even seem surprised by how Raymond treats him at the start of aa2. (Not that that'd be a shock. Edgeworth seems Very used to the 'Your just Von Karma' kind of treatment)

But. Just. 30 year old Raymond taking a case Edgeworth was prosecuting. Being all excited cause Hey at least i get to work with an Edgeworth again. I can't wait to see that kid again.

And yeah sure he became a prosecutor and that Eats at Shields cause You wanted to be a defense attorney. Like your dad. You should be standing next to me not across from me!

But hey maybe he gets it, a little, after the case ran cold and no one was convicted and maybe he's a bit bitter over that too but Gregory stood with those who had no one else and he has to be that too-

And he smiles at Miles and maybe he sees Gregory in that steely stare and Maybe there's still enough of Gregory left in Miles-

And then the case falls apart around him. And with every hair flip and swamy smirk he sees less of Gregory and more of Manfred.

Guilty.

Maybe it's not fair to compare the kid to a man dead ten years and maybe it's not fair to expect him to be more Gregory than the Von Karma that raised him-

But really Miles? Really? You decided to emulate Him?

Just. Shield's meeting the Demon prosecutor. And then meeting him in aai2 and expecting Edgeworth to still be Him.
