RBHM Sketch

I don't usually do this much digital art but I sometimes find it easier to do the "design" stage digitally before I start actually putting pencil to paper.

This isn't the final design of the Red-Bottomed Horse Monkey (she's missing her mask and her namesake after all!) but I think it captures her vibe well enough! We're only just getting to know her in the Monkey Talk Series in the aptly named fic The Red-Bottomed Horse Monkey but she is essentially the Celestial Primate of the "Underworld" and pre-dates the Ten Kings by several eons - she's seen and held countless souls in her time.

The next prompt for my challenge was "Underworld" and there was nothing stopping me from drawing something related to one of my AUs so here we are! 😁
