I know you are probably not watching anymore but I discovered that you used to watch Castle and I would like to hear your thoughts on the recent cancellation and that bullshit they did with Stana. Have a nice day.

I think it says a lot about the status of the industry when a network thought they could out of nowhere fire half of their two leads for “budget reasons” and it just happened to be the female lead. I’m sorry, but cut your production design budget, or wardrobe, or fucking crafty...don’t get rid of your female lead without even trying to negotiate with her??? Truth is, to film and TV executives female characters and female audiences are dispensable. They don’t see us as a group they need to cater to which is why I thought what we were trying to achieve with the movement was so important. Unfortunately, the window for change has passed now. They were watching closely but they aren’t watching anymore and nothing will change. That’s a shame. 

Man, I fucking loved Castle but that show took such a nosedive. I just don’t understand why they can’t put a couple together without having to create unnecessary drama between them. I quit watching after the “Castle fakes his death on their wedding day” bullshit. The eye rolling just got too intense.
