The ancient clock finally breaks into a chime as the hour strikes. The silence, for a short moment is broken, and between the both of them, Dazai was especially keen on leaving the area, absolutely despising meaningless conversations, especially when it dealt with Akutagawa.
“Soooooo,” The ex-mafia excused himself from the table and began shrugging on his coat. They had just finished making a negotiation between the mafia and the detective agency, and there was honestly nothing left for them to talk about. “Give Mori-san my regards?” He looked over to his pupil.
Every time they were brought together, Dazai was reminded of his Spartan training. He never really regretted training his ex-pupil the way he had because it allowed him to develop quickly, but their relationship remained stained by conflicting feelings that only made Dazai eager to leave the other as fast as possible.
