hello, do you know what the skibidi rizzler is? had the biggest gyatt!!!fanum tax!!!!! curses!!! SIGMA!! OHIO!!!!!!!!
As you’re speaking, the four edibles he took earlier start kicking in. I- uh- what??
i know its noncanon but i cant hell but format all your rp interactions into them happening one after another….i feel so bad for cody.. ^_^’ i know its your rp and im just randomly comenting but i thought they wohld hate other sentient player characters? :0 but..that’s player characters…i see…i wonder if any of these were canon, if it wohld sour cody’s opinion on ANY and all NPC-posessed/sentient character
the reason cody is softer towards elias (initially) and mia is because cody has recognized that they're Real Human People stuck inside a video game, as opposed to being a sentient video game character to begin with, which makes cody a lot more sympathetic towards them. (though any respect cody had for elias was lost the moment they found out he intends to torture someone for eternity, it's still a "damn bitch i really hope you chill the fuck out, for both you AND your 'friend's' sake" type deal, as opposed to "i would not care if you were wiped off the face of the earth" that they feel for any sentient video game characters they meet.)
as for glitchy specifically, they don't like him. they're just holding their tongue for now.
and YOU! yes, me again. would you totally write a session for/with maruki. or like something day-to-day with maruki.
YOU AGAIN luckily it is a delight to see you ^_^
I think yes, I would want to write a session of Maruki giving psychiatric care. It'd definitely be a challenging work, since writing a therapy session is basically the convergence of character intimacy and scientific practice, but it could be so rewarding to explore the disconnect between Maruki's skills as a therapist and his distortion stemming from unaddressed trauma.
Another option could be a session of Maruki RECEIVING therapy. It's a tiny pet peeve that I usually overlook in the name of good post-game content, but it's a little absurd how common it is for a story to say "Akechi receives therapy and that's why he's good now" with NO acknowledgement of how they found a therapist able to deal with the fact that at least 30% of Akechi's trauma comes from an alternate dimension made of everyone's unconscious thoughts. What if we leaned into that? Taxi Driver Maruki rolls up to another therapist's office like "HAAAAY, so, I know more than you, but I still got so mentally ill that I tried to erase reality! I know you think I'm lying, but what's your diagnosis?" would be a FASCINATING dynamic. >:3
The last tidbit you offered there was "day to day Maruki" which also makes me think post-2/3, looking at Maruki's changed behavior through the POV of his neighbors and other people he's just sort of passively familiar with. I love the irony of bystanders making assumptions, so it would be really fun to come up with Wrong Answers Only interpretations of what happened to Maruki.
...I think I'm just craving Maruki Empathy Content. XD The best I've seen in that category thus far is in the raw wind of the new world, highly recommended, especially for its inspired choice of co-star. Sadly there's not much of it, but I hope the author is living a good life.
