My first re-root! I'm pretty pleased about it turned out! This Robecca was originally rooted for a ponytail, so I decided to roll with that, rather than making more work for myself since this was my first time. Looking forward to giving her a new face and making her my own~

Should I re-root before I do a face up? I wasn’t going to, but now I want to re-root the Frankie doll custom I am very slowly doing. Black hair does not go with the floral aesthetic I am going for and I’m looking on etsy for supplies/hair because of another re-rooting project I suddenly thought up (is it wise to re-root a Kelly doll?), and saw a really nice colour that might go well.

I have spent over an hour

watching how to re-root doll (specifically Barbie) hair. I’m tempted to go get one of my daughter’s dolls, take out the original hair, and do it myself. :X 

I have no idea how I got to watching these videos. Such is the mystery of YouTube.

長い間ご無沙汰してしまっていてごめんなさい！　漸くこちらでの更新ができるようになったので、前にTwitterで投稿していた写真を少し。

虹色の髪になるように植毛したチェルシーと、ピンク髪に植毛したアイドルジェニー。背景に使っているのは、ドールとは直接関係ありませんが、私が少しずつ描いていた絵です。

アイドルジェニーのワンピース型紙：頑張って自作してみました！

2人とも元々の髪がかなり傷んでしまっていたので、思い切ってオリジナルとはガラっと違う髪にしてみました。雰囲気もかなり変わった感じです。
