Imagine being a spy for Lucian and finding out that Kraven betrayed their deal.
You threw your binoculars to the passenger side of your car in frustration. Kraven's goons were up to no good. The stacks of silver ammunition getting hauled into their van told you as much. You knew this deal was a bad idea and you told Lucian so, many many times before. But the man was as stubborn as he was old. You just prayed you could reach him before the vampires did.
-----
When you reached the den there was debris everywhere. A few walls had collapsed and the dust from the broken concrete was fumigating the air. The overwhelming stench of vampires was strong, much too strong. You amped up your pace but remained vigilant, your eyes guiding you through the dark.
You entered an opening and found Lucian half-buried under a rubble pile.
"Oh fuck." You gasped and started digging away the heavy material. There was a fair bit of blood and silver pooling around Lucian and you knew you needed to get him to help fast. You couldn't help but curse angrily under your breath as your hands got bit by the sharp edges.
"Stupid building, stupid vampires, stupid-"
"Boss?" Lucian replied with a small smile as his eyes fluttered open.
"Yeah," You leaned in, wiping some hair away from his face. "The stupidest."

You eyed Lucian through the bars wearily. Your job was to feed the prisoners and incoming slaves. Normally you didn’t care much, but recently the coven’s blacksmith had joined your chore list.
Lucian had proven quite the handful for you. Giving you suggestive looks every time you were in radius. Grabbing at you through the bars. Almost always making not so subtle innuendos at you. While all the attention was nice, you were afraid that this flirting might grow into something more.
Your job and life hinged on you being loyal and useful to Viktor. You were to feed, water, and monitor the prisoners under your care. If it became clear you were playing favorites, with Lucian none the less, you would be in trouble.
As the sunset you began your normal ritual. Head to the kitchen, grab a helper, load the meal cart, and make your way to the cells. It was damp and dark in the prison, something you had grown accustomed to during your time serving. Now you hardly noticed it.
You made your way down each cell, taking enough time to fill requests for clean water or to remove the last nights trays. One by one you got closer to the scandalous lycan. As you were at the next cell over you could feel his eyes following you. It was assuring and nerve wracking at the same time. You thought about stalling for time, but you knew you had to complete your round sooner or later.
Eventually you made your way to your last cell and stood face to face with Lucian. You grabbed his meal off the cart, probably cold by now, and passed it through the bars to him. His fingers brushed your wrist as he took it from you. Next you gave him a clean bucket of water. As much as you wanted to complete your tasks another part of you wanted to stay.
He seemed to notice your hesitation and gave you a small smile.
“I will not bite,” He hesitated for a moment. “Much.”
You felt your face heat and turned your head away from him. This caused him to chuckle, amused by your sudden shyness. You grabbed your cart and hurried away.
“I’ll be here all night.” Lucian playfully called after you.

You had been sneaking out for the past month, making visits to see Lucian before the dawn came. You had grown close to him during the previous weeks. You waited to be relieved of your duties so you could visit your Lycan lover.
You had met each other by accident. You had gotten overwhelmed and ran to the cliffs at the edge of the property to clear your head.
Unbeknownst to you- that’s where Lucian would go and sit to question his own existence. You had been contemplating on whether you should jump or not when Lucian took your hand. He was able to calm you down enough for you to explain what had made you so upset. Surprisingly he was a very good listener and the few words he did speak were so gentle you couldn’t help but let your guard down. You had almost forgotten what had made you so upset to begin with.
It was clear to see you were both unhappy at the coven. Lucian was tired of being treated like nothing more than a rabid animal. He knew there would be a day that Viktor would turn on him and things would only get worse. He hated having to enforce the slavery of his own kind. His brothers did not deserve this life of servitude, and neither did either you.
You were a part of the lower vampire court. The higher members constantly treated you foully. Your presence was always met with disdain wherever you went. They limited when you could feed. Gave you physically demanding tasks that never seemed to stop. The worst of it for you was that they spread such blatant lies about you, right in front of your face. You grew upset at the idea of being forced to live with them for the rest of your long life.
You both gained comfort and a sense of security from each other. It wasn’t too bad suffering through the day to day events if it meant you could embrace each other through the night. He would kiss away your tears and you would flash him that little smile he so loved.
You had met at the cliffs again and he welcomed you with a tight hug and a passionate kiss. You talked through what you faced that particular day, and how you wished it could change yet again. Lucian watched you, his emotions hidden by a somber expression. He looked towards the moon setting on the horizon. Dawn would be here soon enough and he would be ripped away from your tender touches.
“If I were to leave, would you come with me?” He whispered quietly, almost as if he was afraid of your answer.
Your heart sped in your chest. It was almost as if he had taken the words directly from your mouth. You grabbed one of his calloused hands and used your free palm to make him look at you.
“Lucian, my love. I would follow you to the end of the Earth if it meant I could be with you forever.”

Imagine helping the Lycans escape Viktor’s coven with Lucian.
You had always been loyal to Lady Sonja. Her father had always frightened you, but as long as you listened to Sonja she kept his constant anger directed at others. Sonja was the first high born you ever met to become a fighter. She was willing to work side by side with her death dealers- even though it meant risking her life. So when she approached you one night begging for your help, your decision was an easy one.
Your task was to distract the other guards while the Lycans slipped through the secret tunnels under the courtyard. Your heart had never beaten so fast in your life and your hands trembled. You knew you needed to keep your composure or the plan would fail. You didn’t understand why Sonja had fallen in love with Lucian, but you did agree that Lycans should no longer be slaves to vampires. A life of slavery was not a life at all.
When you got the signal from Lucian you slipped away and discarded the two vampires patrolling the prison. You dragged their bodies out of sight and threw the keys to Lucian, eliciting a quiet cheer from the men besides him. As Lucian and the others broke free from their cells you called after him.
“Travel fast and safe! Lady Sonja will be with you in three days time. I will make sure any who get left behind will have a second chance to join you.” Your voice shook and you silently hoped they wouldn’t hear the fear in the words you spoke.
He gave you a nod of acknowledgment and ran off, leading the Lycans to either a brighter future or certain death. You had no clue which fate these men would face after this stunt. Nor did you have any idea what would happen to you if it was found out you helped them escape. That night you prayed to whoever you could think of.

Imagine fighting Lucian for the title of Alpha and losing.
You figured this was a dumb idea the minute it popped in your head. But you couldn’t stand to watch Lucian make deals with vampires. Over the many centuries he’s lived, he’s grown soft. It was time for a change in the Lycan coven. No more would you tolerate Lucian’s spinelessness. There were a few Lycans who had tried to usurp him, but they had all failed.
He had been around much longer than you had, so you knew if you were to strike, it would be best to do so while he was distracted. Some might call that foul play- but when your opponent had easily 1,000+ years of experience over you, you saw it as evening the playing field.
You followed Lucian to his meeting spot and waited for him. Even through the downpour you could clearly smell Kraven as Lucian opened the car door and got in. The stench made your blood boil and your fangs sharpen. Your people were dying because of them while Lucian was just sitting there having tea parties with them. Your nerves made waiting for him seem like an eternity.
The meeting ended abruptly and Lucian exited the vehicle, you got ready to make your move. You hunched over and readied your weapon. You waited for the car to drive off and Lucian’s back to be facing you to leap out and strike him. You managed to land a hit on him before he whipped around a fixed his eyes on you.
“You chose the wrong night for this Y/n.” Lucian growled out, seemingly unfazed by your efforts.
He adjusted his feet and prepared himself for your next move. You hated how he acted like he was mildly annoyed. Your anger grew. You were a threat and he should treat you like one. You gripped your instrument tighter and lunged for another attack. He managed to sidestep this one and bring his fist down onto your shoulder blade.
Although Lucian had no weapon he was able to dodge and disrupt your attacks. It was clear that his long life had made him an excellent fighter. He was one of the strongest Lycans you had met. As the fight went on you found yourself getting sloppy. Between being frustrated and the losing energy
Your fight lasted an approximate seven and a half minutes before Lucian grabbed you by the neck. He held you like that, letting your feet dangle above the concrete. As you started gasping for breath he drew you near.
“Next time you challenge me, I will not be so lenient.” He snarled as he threw you into the alley wall.
Lucian loomed over you and watched you gasp to regain the oxygen he had just knocked out of you. Satisfied with his work, he turned on his heel and walked away as if nothing ever happened.
You let your head fall back against the bricks and felt your lungs burning. Well shit.

Imagine Viktor adopting and turning you. Viktor already had his hands full trying to control Selene, but you were so gentle and frightened he couldn’t imagine leaving you alone after all you had witnessed.
“Come my child. A better place awaits us.”
