QOTD: What are some of your favorite reads of the year? . . With the year and an entire decade coming to a close in a few short days, I’m looking back on some of my favorite books that I’ve read over the last year. It was an amazing reading year, with spinoff series like Call Down the Hawk and Courting Darkness both blowing me away. I’m ready for all the new reads of 2020! . . It’s been a tough week for Autumn but we’re getting there. I’ve come to embrace the motto, ‘one day at a time’ this year. Planning ahead is irrelevant with kiddos, especially one with an illness like bipolar II disorder. I’ve come to appreciate and enjoy the smaller things in life— a new Netflix show to binge, a laugh doing something silly, a quick hug for no reason. I hope to continue this into the next decade! . .
