Glory to Misconceptions

Blind since the womb;

my father said I've always been too clumsy.

We’ve never had a good relationship.

who gets along with stuck up individuals anyway?

I never meant to be a disappointment.

I'm lost, truly. 

I attempt to listen to myself 

feel empathetic, 

hand all gratitude to life,

then nothing and everything feels lame without drugs.

I am at peace,

but the struggle is hitting me.

I'm tired of the low.

Sleepless nights,

Daydreams,

And overthinking.

Cigarettes -- my problem solver.

A buzzed head with the fear of dying.

Take it all away from me if you must;

I just want to this all to be numb.

Nothing has been good to me

Not more than the first time I met those feelings

The euphoria given by the cold palms of another one.

Time wasted, but so were we —

In the dark with long cigarettes and marijuana blunts.

I'd like to be held, but our space was too tight.

The retired affectionate; my love has been thrown all inside.

I am in love with too many;

admire me or take another heart!

I give out loyalty like tour guide pamphlets in the city

Stick with me and the world will keep you in the right conditions

A stab cannot hurt me

My strength carries an absence that will leave you bleeding.

I have grown far from home;

The weeds cannot compete with me.
