Is there a demon in you? There's a demon in me. it lives in the back of my mind. It protects me when im weak, flooding my veins with fire and anger and making me strong. its there when im sad, burning away feeling with its single minded pursuit. I know its there when im happy, howling for vengeance, for righteousness, for forgetting the past by burning it down. There's a name burned into my mind. A name I will never forget. It wont let me forget. It thirsts for their blood. It thirsts for its vengeance. And when its dark, when the fire hasn't burned me away, when i cant sleep because i just think, when theres nothing left but me and it, it plans. it plans slices down a back, licks of blood spilling softly. it plans death and fire. it plans weapons, inventions, falls from buildings. there's a cage in my mind, made of steel and titanium and diamond, and through the refracted view i can see it, guarded by dragons, but smiling at me. It's in me. It is me.
