Locked Out // Reallynotnobility
A train slithered along the green countryside of England, winding north from the station like a great, long, silver and crimson snake- shining beneath the rare sunlight. This, of course, was the Hogwarts Express- train to Hogwarts School of Witchraft and Wizardry, carrying students to the academy for the new year.
One such student was Bronwyn Kerr, a muggle-born third year transfer student from Brickwurst Academy (a fairly ugly-looking, fat muggle school in East London). She was here because her parents had sent her away. Bronwyn wasn't sad about this in the least. She wanted to be away. The only trouble was that she rather disliked everything about everything right now, considering her arms were full of luggage and her owl's cage, and the door to the very last compartment at the end of the train was stuck.
All of the other compartments had been full. Or, well- not really full. Not all of them. But the others hadn't been too keen to let the girl with the alarming head of hair and loud screech owl into their compartment. So here she was, after opening one compartment after the other only to be dissapointed- unable to get the door of the only empty compartment on the entire train open.
This was just bloody brilliant.
Bronwyn gave the door one last disparaging kick, and then set her suitcase down in a huff, sitting on top of it and setting her owl's cage next to her. The bird gave an annoyed little hoot, unhappy at being handled so carelessly. Bronwyn wasn't really concerned with her at this point. She was too upset about the fact that she'd be stuck sitting on her suitcase for the entire ride to Hogwarts unless an adult came along and rescued her.
And that she did not want. Adults were pesky and overbearing and every once in a while- downright mean and abused their power. So she didn't want one of those- especially one that could use magic keeping an eye on her for the rest of the trip, no sir. She would rather sit here than be in that predicament. So sit here, it was.
She rested her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands, and waited for time to pass.
