Summary: Loki’s idea of an – unintentional yet effectively hilarious – practical joke is to turn Tony into a 5-year-old. The remaining Avengers soon realize they may not be able to handle the boy-genius. While Thor hunts his brother down in order to turn Tony back to his older self, the rest of the team seeks help from a man who, in the past, was more of a father figure to Tony than Howard Stark himself: Edwin Jarvis.

Even before Agent Carter graced my screen, I loved Edwin Jarvis. The idea that Howard Stark didn’t make Tony the man that he was, but that Jarvis did, is a trope that is near and dear to my heart.
This fic puts Tony in a very vulnerable state, and seeing Jarvis’ protective nature of the young Stark is absolutely heartwarming. Also, in this fic Tony still has the arc reactor, so seeing young Tony struggle with grasping why he has this device in his chest is extremely poignant.
So, this is gonna contain KTGC Spoilers, but like I know you've seen it so... I was just wondering if you are thinking that's gonna be the end of Eggsy as a Kingsman, him getting married and all? Or, do you think the third one, if there is a third one (let's be real, of course there's going to be a third one) is going to bring him back? Cause, like I have my thoughts on how they'll keep Taron involved, but I really want to hear yours...
ok so *stretches arms* *massages fingers* i’m gonna try to keep this as short as possible without my usual rambling (i sense failure looming in the near future tbh):
1. Kingsman is pretty much centered around Eggsy Unwin and now that Harry’s back we can assume it’s going to be about them working together, learning and investing in a relationship that was only a sad almost in TSS. I think logically in the final installment (really hope not) the story will be about Eggsy trying to be both and despite failing a bit at first, he’ll get through somehow with the help of Harry and Tilde (and Tequila?) of course. And this is me without my Hartwin-coloured glasses.
2. MV said in some interviews back in 2015 or 2016 that his sequel would be about the modern spy aka Eggsy, not the old generation. However, I think he changed his mind a bit (a lot!) while writing the script for TGC and switched the lane to give us An Exceptional Hell that I’d gladly experience again but without too much influence from GoT. Could he put a full stop to this franchise and start an entirely new one? Possibly. But I hope he’ll give us a closure since the narration of Harry at the end of TGC leaves an opening for MV if he entertains the idea of going back and let Harry “The Longing in my eyes are merely bittersweet happiness for my once-protege” Hart be fucking happy for once.
3. I love Eggsy and I wanted to see more of him as a spy on a normal mission you know? Like where is Eggs and Rox as a badass duo with Merlin in their ears taking down bad guys? Did he have a good workplace rapport with Percival? Was Roxy invited to Daisy’s birthday? Are Tilde and Roxy friends? Saving the world gets boring sometimes because you have to keep coming up with new threats and interesting villains when you already have these really cool characters and all you need to do is give them MORE SCREEN TIME.
4. My answer for your question is entirely in #1 the other 3 are just my silly additions. Don’t take them too seriously ;)
Superhusbands + 5, 7, 8, 18, 27, 34, and 40 for the ship question thing?
Ah yes… my OTP to end OTPs….
ha this got long oops
5. Who usually has nightmares?
hmmmm…. I’d say they both have pretty decent fuel for nightmares going for them… but probably Tony, I think, would have them more often just because he tends to internalize his feelings, like, all the time and ignore them/distract himself (ie Iron Man 3) and he tends to take on guilt and responsibility for every little thing even when it’s not his fault and he often thinks of the worst case scenarios for everything and really he’s such a mess. But I would say that when Steve has nightmares they tend to be a result of being reminded of his past, or a mission gone wrong and they can get pretty bad.
7. Who sweats the small stuff?
Jesus, Tony probs, my smol anxiety ridden son.
8. Who sleeps in their underwear (naked)/Who sleeps in pajamas?
Ok but like I have this idea that Steve probably sleeps in his underwear or naked because after he got the serum and his metabolism increased, so did his natural body temperature, so if he wore pajamas and then slept under a blanket he’d probably sweat to death and just be so uncomfortable (unless he dreams about the ice, then you’ll find him in like two sweaters and under like three blankets). Tony would probably sleep in pajamas after getting the reactor because he’s self-conscious about how it looks and the scars and he doesn’t like people looking at it.
18. Who is a cat person/who is a dog person?
Steve - dog, Tony - cat
27. Who takes long showers/sings in the shower?
I have this headcanon where Tony is actually a very musically inclined person because his mom encouraged it so he can play piano and sing really well and stuff, so I’d say Tony sings in the shower. I also have this headcanon of Steve actually being a terrible morning person, but he still gets up early because of 1.) military training ingrained in his routine and 2.) his body doesn’t require much sleep so he wakes up earlier. He probably stands in the shower for like 15 minutes in the morning, half asleep, before he’s like “oh shit i’m supposed to be cleaning myself.” I just think that’s hilarious.
34. Who would wear “if lost return to…” t-shirt/ Who would wear “I am…” t-shirt?
Steve would probably wear the “if lost return to…” shirt, and Tony would wear “I am…” because Tony’s honestly kind of an asshole and he thought it was funny when Steve would go out into the city to do something/get something and he’d get lost because everything was so different. also its ironic because steve was lost…in ice…for seventy years ok yeah you get it
40. Who is the fun parent/ Who is the responsible parent?
Ok, I know the expected answer here is fun - Tony, responsible - Steve, but wouldn’t it be funny if it were actually the other way around? Like, the idea of Steve letting their kid stay up past their bedtime to watch a scary movie and Tony is just like “you have school tomorrow morning, mister, you should be in bed, why are you watching this, this is not age appropriate” like… cracks me up. Honestly, though, I feel like they’d both be pretty responsible, and then they’d both be fun when it calls for it, but I think Tony might be more easy-going and let the kid get away with stuff more. he probably feels uncomfortable/anxious when giving punishment just because of… historical… personal…reasons

Summary: A really long redemption story.

Found family? The best trope. Villains being decent(ish) people? The second best trope. Peter Parker kicking butt and taking names? Priceless.
So, Peter drops out of college, buys a farm, and adopts a bunch of super villains. He also lies to the Avengers for a whiles, but that’s okay.
This fic features a bunch of various “villains”, with the main ones being Bucky, Deadpool, Magneto, Loki, and Ultron. The author did an excellent job at keeping all of them in character, and it’s fun seeing them actually being kinda good guys.
Summary: In December 1944, the entire nation loves Rebecca Lawrence - “America’s Most Beloved Homemaker.” Her columns about leading the ideal life in the country help lift people’s spirits on the home front during World War II. But when her publisher asks her to host a war hero for Christmas dinner, the world is in danger of learning the truth … which is that “Rebecca Lawrence” is imaginary. Really, she’s a combination of Raven’s snappy writing and Charles’ knowhow in the kitchen.
However, this war hero, Erik Lehnsherr, is headed to Connecticut, so Raven and Charles have no choice but to find a way to make the imaginary real - at least, just for Christmas. Charles thinks they can pull it off, at least until he opens the door to see Erik and falls in love at first sight.
Yahtzee is famous in the X-Men fandom - for a reason. They’re good at what they do, and what they do is AMAZING. This fic is no exception. It’s a shorter fic, but it’s totally worth it. They set the stage really well for it all.
It’s also just a really cute fic, and Erik is really great in it, and Charles is adorable. I kinda wish that it’d had more of the X-Men characters, because Yahtzee always nails them. But, I mean like I said the other fics have them, so it’s chill.
But if you want a high key feels good fic for Christmastime, this is the one for you. It’s a lot of fun.

Summary: An innocent question leads Steve to look up Edwin Jarvis, the former Stark family butler who gave JARVIS his name, and bring him back to New York to see Tony one last time.

So, another Edwin Jarvis fic that I want to recommend! Ayyyy…
I want to preface this review by saying that I love missbecky’s fics? She’s a brilliant writer who can encapsulate so many emotions and really bring these characters to life. Even if this fic doesn’t sound like it’s your speed, you should still go check out her other ones; she’s written a lot of Kingsman fics that are also super good.
But onto this fic! I loved how Tony was portrayed in this fic. There are several times where he bursts into tears, and it’s wonderful seeing the man who was more or less Tony’s only father figure comfort him.
