Hello!! I would like to do some fanart for the ship children for each of the kids of the wukongverse except I can't really find some descriptions for some of them, like keto and rahu who I think were only mentioned once(??) Do you by chance have a link for them or a tag?

Of course! I always welcome fanart of my aus or ideas! ^♡^

I'll try to do decent descriptions for all ze babies/fan children.

Lego Monkie Kid - Shadowpeach (multiple aus);

Zàoyīn & Bàoliè/"Rumble & Savage" - tiny black-furred baby monkeys with red face masks + Macaque's dark skin. Get into a lot of havoc despite being the size of marmosets. Develop little red "tiger stripes" on their limbs and tails as they get older. Rumble has natural six-ears.

Yuebei Xing - the baby girl herself and star of the SlowBoiled au. Tiniest black furball ever. Big blue eyes (often caused by eating LBD's soul). And a white skull-shaped face marking. Grows to be much taller than either parent. Here's some super cute fanart done by @teatime-at-4 + teenage Yuebei by @soniclozdplove + an older version of her done in the LMK OC Picrew.

Jidu & Luohuo - born shortly after Yuebei, and named for the lunar nodes/phenomena making them the "Nodelets". Furs are a mix of orange and black like tortoiseshell cats. Both have four purple and orange ears. Very mischievous.

Luzhen - technically Wukong's little brother, depending on the au. Looks like a little clone of him, but with deep blue eyes. Loves music.

Ziqi - newest baby idea. Named for the last Lunar phenomena (Perigee/a supposed "shadow planet") not given a character in Journey to the South. Surprise baby. Pure black (like a shadow) with hazy purple eyes, and face marking.

Monkey King Hero is Back - ReboundedHeroes;

Xiaoyun/"Little Cloud" - born from a mysterious cloud-patterned Stone Egg. Egg was damaged before hatching; causing the right eye, right ear(s), and right arm not to develop correctly. Pure white fluffy fur, like a cloud. Very small and skinny due to being born premature. Very adventurous, gives his parents frequent heart attacks.

Yǔ Sōng & Xuě Bào - Twin girls born sometime into the family's Journey across the kingdoms. Look like little toasted macaroons with six ears each, and violet eyes. Develop their baba's red-auburn when they grow up.

+Shui Lian - Adopted. AU form of the White-Faced Vixen. Due to timeline changes, the "vixen" is rather only a pre-teen kit. Has albinism and is unable to hide her fox ears and tail despite mostly-human form.

Monkey King Reborn - Fruitiedads;

Xiao Qi - Fruitie/Qi Energy reborn as a Stone Monkey egg by sheer willpower. Fur so white it look transparent. Pink skin + pink heart-shaped face marking. Big smiley baby. Looks like a fairytale prince.

Xiao Lü - reincarnation of Yuandi/Primordium created when Nüwa tricked Smokey/SWK into creating a clay figure to house the primordial soul - which became a new stone egg. Pure black fur, light skin, and no noticeable face marking as if yet. Has little grey "shoes" on the fur around her feet - hence the name.

5 False Ginseng Fruit Babies - complete and utter accident on the monkeys part. Smokey tried growing the pit from the Ginseng fruit he ate in hopes that the resulting tree could help reinvigorate the damaged FFM. Liang/LEM watered/tended to the tree while he was gone. It did not in fact bare Ginseng Fruit - but five whole newborn monkey cubs - all named after stone fruits. Current draft of the au places their "fruiting" after the Journey once everyone's come home. More detailed post here.

Lìzhī & Hǎizǎo - Twins. Born at the crux of the Journey. Accidentally delivered inside the Thunderclap Monastery. Look like miniature versions of Smokey, tiny brown furred grumpy things.

+Zhu Yu & Ku Ai / Wood Wolf Siblings - Adopted. The children of Kui Mulang/Revati/Yellow Robed Demon and the Princess Baihuaxiu. After the stray star wolf entity was captured, the Princess wanted nothing to do with her half-wolf children (given that they were conceived in less than ideal circumstances) and the human king wanted them destroyed. The pilgrims take the little werewolves into their group. Older girl and younger boy, both below the age of seven. Mix of brown and grey fur/hair like regular wolf pups. Think the kids from Wolf Children Ami & Yuki.

Monkey King 2023/Netflix - CherryandOliveStones;

Xiaoshi - created when Cherry/SWK wanted to see if he could make "another him" from clay and a pebble after he had learned the story of Nüwa. Clay Egg became a real Stone Egg. Xiaoshi has bright orange fur and light briwn face markings. Rarely doesn't have paint or ink in his fur. Link to some amazing art done by @tsa-smth.

Hǔpò & Zhēnzhū aka "The Pebbles" - natural babies. Look like little clones of their LEM (black fur with white accents) with their dear baba's green eyes.

Luzhen (yes another one) - miniature version of Cherry/SWK. Possible little brother.

New Gods series - Jackpotshipping;

Xiaozhēn - dumpster baby. Possible half-monkey demon. Fluffy brown fur, built like a dad - cus he is one. Is in his 30s demon-wise. Has kids of his own.

Unnamed newborn twins nicknamed "Two Pair" (x) - dark fur and brown eyes. One baby is an attempted changeling - but they aren't sure which one.

Meihouwang 2009 - Peachbuds;

Ketu & Rahu - a pair of twins, one a loose Stone Egg that arrived in a comet, the other an egg formed naturally between the parents (they're all grown up by now ofc). Both have a mix of silver and gold fur, like their parents when they were younger. Rahu has six ears. Here's the post you mentioned!

Smash Legends - FabledConnections;

No definite kids, but I'd imagine they'd be a mix of black and white fur. Like tuxedo cats.

No kids planned for the 1999/2000 Legends cartoon pair (yet)

Had a hilarious idea regarding a possible interaction/dynamic in my Hero is Back fic;

Erlang Shen comes down to earth to figure out; Why Sun Wukong isn't in his prison? And why was a manifestation of Primordial Chaos/Hundun smashing around just now? Did the Golden Cicada just die??

However when he gets to earth he sees:

Sun Wukong in a weakened state, holding a newborn half-demon/celestial (as per my hc of Silly Girl being not-human) with dark hair to his chest.

Erlang: (*all three eyes blinking with shock*) Dasheng, realising what it looks like: "She's not yours A-Jian." Erlang, unable to control volume: "THEN WHO IS!?!" Dasheng, covering the baby's ears: "Probably someone who wouldn't capture me and allow me to be tossed in Laozi's Furnace!" Zhu Bajie, jaw-dropped: "Sweet Buddha! You [pointing at Dasheng] and the Emperor's nephew-" Dasheng, flushed: "Shut up." Liuer, still injured and semi-lucid: "Why is the god Erlang here??"

Things gets cleared up once Liuer wakes up from his recovery, and explains how he found and accidentally released "Dasheng" whilst running from baby-stealing yaoguai.

Erlang refuses to answer his initial reaction to seeing Silly Girl in his former rival's/"it's complicated" arms.

Then when everyone gets to Flower Fruit Mountain and meet "Zhanshi"/Liu'er Mihou...

And the three-eyed god meets up with another ex...

Erlang ain't getting away from a pair of angry, mischievous kissing monkeys.

Zhanshi, resting Silly Girl on her lap: "Did A-Jian seriously believe the baby was his?" Dasheng: "And mine. He must have believed I survived the Furnace and my imprisonment while with cub." Zhanshi, giggles: "I wonder how his brain tried to rationalise seeing the little Monk." Dasheng, teasing smile: "He probably thought he was yours." Both monkeys: (*laughing*) Erlang, sitting nearby with Liuer: (*blushing with furious embarrassment*) Liuer: (*blissfully unaware of the convo. is too busy petting Xiaotian Quan*)

So now Liuer, Silly Girl, and the future cubs, have another accidental parental figure - and this one comes with a dog!

Then again, some details are dependent on if Erlang is still a god; as the video game DLC depicts him falling from Heaven after a post-Furnace rematch with Dasheng. Similar to how the film depicted Zhu Bajie did before he reincarnated as a pig.

Erlang might be a werewolf-esque canine demon running around the mortal realm, calling himself Yang Jian as he did as when he was human.

Not sure what idea I love more for my Dasheng/Hib!SWK x Zhanshi/Hib!LEM dynamic;

Married couple kept apart all those years SWK was imprisoned. Their romantic flames for one another never dying down once.

Or:

Comrades during the war on heaven, turned super-mega crush when they reunite.

I am now thinking of a mixture of the two for my Hero is Back sequel fanfic:

Childhood best-friends/crushes who jokingly agreed; "If we survive the war on heaven, you wanna get married?". Only for that witnessed promise to make Zhanshi/LEM the ruler of Alolai/Huaguoshan/Flower Fruit Mountain when Sun Wukong was captured and presumably killed by the celestials/the Buddha's hand. Now that Dasheng is freed to go home, things have gotten super awkward cus him and Zhanshi are legally married in the eyes of demonkind. And now they have (adopted) kids??? Also they haven't confessed to one another at ALL; like a pair of blushing high-schoolers.

Liuer is very confused by his idol/father figure turning into a love-struck fool when around this other demon monkey, but not confronting his feelings for her. Grown-ups are weird.

Still thinking about how before I even listened to the whole albulm I made my version of HIB!LEM ("Zhanzhi") basically Penelope of Ithaca - albeit Dasheng initially believes his wife to have died when the embers flung from Laozi's Furnace struck her and later the land of Alolai below.

Once the situation with Hundun and the kidnapped babies is sorted out; this Sun Wukong is zipping his way to Huagoshan immediately (missing powers or not). He doesn't care if he needs a favour from a dragon, or a sandy river demon, or a disgraced demigod to get home (foreshadowing).

When he does get home, he sees a siege of vile hunters on his kingdom's shores...

"Odysseus" starts playing.

Amongst the bloodshed; the kids are threatened, and Dasheng goes full Baba Monkey King to protect them.

Aside in the field of battle - as they had once before - the Monkey King and the Six Eared Macaque lock gazes. Neither sure if the other is a real or a mere vision.

The fiercesome Great Sage Equal to Heaven bares the neglect of his prison; thin, cold and filthy. The warrior that fought at his and his brotherhood's side, although marred with the burn of True Fire, has strengthened to carry the weight of their kingdom.

Their hearts burn for eachother as they did centuries ago.

"Would You Fall in Love with Me Again?"

The confusion from the King's new companions is palpable, only broken by the confusion shared between the two spiritual monkeys;

Zhanshi: "Why do you have human cubs?" Dasheng: "Why do you have a Egg-shaped Stone?"

One or two accusatory questions are tossed around before the rest of the companions - both the friends Dasheng made along the way home and the loyal Huaguoshan Stalwarts - clear things up.

Seems that both of the island's rulers accidentally became parents without knowledge of the other! XD

In my Hero is Back sequel idea, I'm debating whether or not to make "Zhanshi" (aka the HiB Six Eared Macaque/Liu'er Mihou) skinny like her counterpart, or a Big Lady.

Like I'm leaning towards the latter cus of the adorable idea of Sun Wukong, the Havoc of Heaven, being this tall, muscular, and skinny guy - and his wafiu is shaped like a Venus of Willendorf statue.

Said waifu is also considered a scourge of Heaven and should not be underestimated just because she's Mom Shaped™

Or...

Dasheng *remembers* his right-hand warrior being more lithe and taller than him.

When he finally returns to Huaguo, new troop members in tow, he discovers that his thought-to-be-lost mate's body has changed - but their desire for eachother has not.

Zhanshi is as soft as she is still is deadly on the battlefield.

These repetitive behaviors follow them into adulthood, even when they've grown into healthy wild monkeys"

The truth is I got a little sad reading that, but then my mind went a little random and I imagined this:

Basically you can see Swk and Lem hugging each other lovingly, then the red-haired ape separates a little and looks into the other's eyes and say:

"Can I suck your chaest?"

"Wha-"

This applies to any Swk in the Wukongverse probably ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Referencing this post about orphan monkey behavior seen in SWKs.

Short answer: YUP.

Long answer: Ultimately it would be another form of intimacy shared between two mates. Pretty much all the LEMs are aware that their Wukong was essentially an orphan, and after some confusion (or an indignant slap from some) they would be ok with it. It also makes them adoringly-smug to see the powerful Monkey King resting against their chest like a cub - its an extreme show of trust.

Godspeed to the SWKs who ask their mate that question when they're currently nursing a baby (like Zhanshi or Liang).

The monkey king wonders if this is how he dies.
