Hung out with the folks over at @levelexchange a couple weekends back and had some fun making short videos of some solo singing/guitar and sax work. Good people and a fun time! Hope to get those out soon. Been taking it easy the last couple weeks - resting up, writing, and trying to get a few projects organized - but itching to get back out and play. Had a fantastic time playing with a new quintet at @AS220 for “Is This Jazz?” and hanging with my former prof Eric Hofbauer back on Nov 2. What a killer band, really hope to keep that crew going and compose some material for those cats. Last week’s “Newport To Nashville” was a lot of fun, had a terrific audience of deep listeners there, and as always the folks at Newport Playhouse were amazing. The upcoming months will be all about leading to the next bit of the path.
