can someone recommend to me books that are considered classics they consider worth the read? i say read, id be listening to them as audiobooks. but some classics are shit like i tried to read catcher in the rye once and fuck me rigid that was so bad. so yeh the ones that people actually enjoy personally not just like " heres a list of classics" pls

fellow autists and other sensory-issue having friends, I’m looking for noise cancelling headphones and I’m need of firsthand advice and recommendations

My preferred pair would be: over-ear, closed-back, with active noise cancelling, and (here’s the most important part) the option for a wired connection. I would like to be able to plug them into my old CD player and other devices without wireless capability.

so far the only option I’ve found that checks all my boxes are the Shure Aonic 50 Gen 2. the big drawback seems to be that they are most effective when using the companion app. but even as I write this I’m still trying to update my stuff to see if I could even download that app in the first place.

what do you use for noise cancelling headphones? recommendations? thoughts? especially from my on the spectrum siblings. I experience way more high-high and low-low frequencies than most people seem to hear or be able to empathize with, so your opinion is extra helpful.
