People are still scandalized about River's romance scene.

I finally pissed someone off in this app despite being only a week old, for defending the above. (And apparently being antagonizing for using the expression "tada"!) Evidently, they are all free to say what they like, but I can't because I'm defending River.

Monique and Dorian, especially Randy, definitely know that their dad regularly puts hands on their mom. Dorian was also taken to a dive bar by their dad, and was only taken back home by River. Joss was attacked by her husband for this, as he thought Joss called the cops, instead of only calling her brother (I mean he is a cop, but that was a family matter). The kids of course also know their dad died far away from them, doing god knows what and how exactly they might not know, but certainly they know that he chose his nomad lifestyle instead of being there for them.

And about trailer home walls being super thin, ok, so if you live in those types of conditions, better not have sex because you can't afford a home with a thicker wall? Better drive out and rent a motel room than be in your own home if there's kids? So you think everyone who lives in the Trailer Park just shouldn't have sex because all their trailer walls are thin? Who else can't have sex then, the nomads because they just have tents? Or should they pack a tent and pitch it far away, and only then have sex?

Also my explanation that apparently warrants me being blocked on top of the expression "tada": That's why you see V put her hand on River's mouth, because they're trying hard to be quiet. That's why when the bottle fell and rolled on the floor, V couldn't look away from it, because if it breaks then the kids might wake up. They're keeping quiet so his niece and nephew (not siblings) won't wake up. If they were being loud, then you could say he was exposing them to sex. But every cough, every noise outside, you see him get alerted by it because he's thinking "What if the kids wake up?" That's why he was signaling instead of talking to go to the bed, he shuts his door before they do anything other than kissing.

This right here is too scandalous for them. Two people finally confessing their feelings, finally touching and kissing each other, at the right moment where things seem to finally be at peace (at least on River's side, wish V could tell him about the relic beforehand but ehh). They want them to drive out and have sex on the desert or in a motel, instead of the house River bought for his sister and her kids. In a room that's actually his. While trying so hard to be quiet when all they want is to be loud.

WIP Wednesday/Whenever

Ahhh I got tagged by @soju-poppi, thank you so much! This is my first time doing this type of thing, so I'm gonna just go for it. I am actually working on a VP set, I've been thinking about it for a while (because of the lore connected to it), even though the date when I should be posting it is not until next year (I know that's not too far away now but...) 🥹 It's for River's birthday! I found out about it after seeing people greet V a happy birthday. I didn't know the characters have canon birthdays, so I searched for it lol. Knowing the canon LIs' age, it was surprising (Kerry), and on some it made a lot of sense (Judy) haha!

Anyway, it turns out River and I (irl) have the same birthday. So if I don't do anything in advance, I'm going to be super busy and won't have anything prepared. And the timeline of his birthday (on what I've been thinking about is gonna be when V's going to attack Mikoshi, post-relic, etc) they won't get to celebrate it together any time soon. V will need to leave Night City to get cured (no it's not the Star ending. It's also not the Tower!) Johnny is still with her. They did Mikoshi together, but V did not link/connect with Alt, because she doesn't want to give up Johnny, and they found a way for him to have a second (third?) shot at life. It's a new ending, totally non-canon, just because I want a happy ending. I'm sorry! 😣

I used a different beard on River than usual. It's supposed to be 2 yrs after, so he changed his style a bit. I know my pics already have him with long hair and beard, but that was because it's my first time using mods and I just got too excited lol. (Just think he has longer hair now than usual haha!) In my head canon, he started to grow his hair and beard when he became a detective. Plainclothes have more ease on the dress and hair code, and hair is important to his culture so for those purposes, he is allowed to have long hair and beard. Before he quit the force, he tied his hair in a bun for safety reasons (to not get easily grabbed). If there's a mod to give Randy long hair too, I will nuke this picture and take a new one. 🤣

I plan to take group pictures, a lot of chooms are going to be there as it's also after they (V and River) got back from their honeymoon (spent almost 2 months living with the Pomo tribe in NorCal). Not sure how to take more than 3 characters + V though. 😅 And hopefully I'm sure of where I'm going with this story and don't have to retcon it later. (Whatever maybe no one cares anyway hahaha) But! If you do care, then look forward to next year (month), as I'll put a little story with the pictures. ☺️
