I have a weird headcanon that Corvus is slightly unsettling. He isn't creepy in a horror sense. He just has a look to him that people find uncanny.

Dug through the archives and unearthed some old fanart from a few years ago! The first time I drew some of the demons-

D(a)emons and how they are around their partners/listeners with their tails ( @tiredandkindaoverworked made a post that mentioned Vega using his tail to move Warden around and i think its a great idea)

Starting with

Caelum: he doesn't use his tail like that often, usually opting to wrap it around his own legs or hold onto it with his hands. However, when he and Freelancer cuddle, his tail will curl around their leg a few times to ground both them and himself. He's also used it to pull them away from the hot stove when the things they're cooking splatter or he wants them to come look at something for him

Gavin: uses his tail to pull FL towards him when he's speaking to them, often coiling it around their waist and pulling them away from whatever task they're on (when he knows they won't be upset). When they're walking and his hands are full (they hand him stuff to carry a lot) his tail will curl around their hand so that they don't have to be separated by something as simple as groceries

Avior: is surprisingly shy about demonic traits. It's not something he really thought about as having an intimate application. After getting Starlight back he subconsciously started wrapping his tail around them in some way when they were sitting together. It keeps him grounded and reminds them that he's real

Vega (w/ warden): uses it to pull them behind him, makes him feel more in power over situations knowing they trust him enough to move them around (they still do even after the resurrection)

Fool! Vega: makes it longer so that he can properly wrap Pet up in it when they're anxious

Imp! Vega: it's around their throat/thighs when Pets with him. Not even for necessarily spicy reasons, it's a claim, and a comfort, for both

Corvus: once he and Dreamer get closer, he finds that he quite enjoys having his body resting against theirs. His tails an extention of that, usually ending up around their arm above their elbow, or around their lower leg

Camelopardalis: (personal headcanon that he has a partner) wraps his tail around their waist. Finds it entertaining because they're not always expecting it, so when they're reaching for something or working on something, he'll wrap his tail around their waist to pull them back towards him

(I'm giving hush a tail idk if it's canon though so bear with me)

Hush: wraps his tail around Doc's legs/waist. It's a self soothing thing that he discovered the first time they hugged him. He likes feeling their body and its an easy way to do it without making them uncomfortable

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet but I think the reason we have seen Caelum in so long is because Freelancer got better, and when they got better they were supposed to forget Caelum.

I vaguely remember something being said about it in a video forever ago, and I know that Asher and David were charged to Caelum at one point (as we hear him talk about) and they don't remember him anymore.

Once you're better, like Freelancer is now, you're supposed to forget. Empathy daemons become imaginary friends or kids that disappeared without a trace in your childhood that you can't quite remember the face of. I miss Caelum so bad, we all do, but Freelancer doesn't because they don't remember Caelum anymore. (Probably. We haven't had a solid update on him in a hot minute so I say Probably.)

Caelum helped Freelancer get out of a dark place more than once, but now they don't need his help to get out of those places because they have the crew, the crew has each other. FL was charged to Caelum to help FL but also for Caelum to learn to let go of his charges when they don't need him anymore. Freelancer doesn't need Caelum anymore.

But WE do. That's why we hold onto the memory of Caelum so tightly. Because a lot of us ARE still in that dark place and need someone like Caelum to show up and give us a glass of water or get excited over mundane things.

I don't think we'll see much, if any of Caelum for a while if ever again, at least from FLs perspective because he isn't needed in that way anymore. We all know that FL considers Caelum to be a close friend, but sometimes close friends come and go too. You won't have the same friends your entire life (and if you do, lucky.), and that's okay. Some people are meant to guide you through one phase of your life and then leave.

I don't think we'll ever get any Caelum content again, personally. Even if it's sad to say that. I think he's unofficially retired, served his purpose to the story and meant to gently fade from view as the story goes on without him. I'm sure he's still alive and helping people and loving what he does, I just don't think WE'LL ever hear from him again. We need Caelum now more than ever and as beautiful as that is, we can't rely on him to make it all better. We have to take the steps and do what we can to get better. Even when it's hard and it feels like the whole world is against you.
