God, you talking about them divorcing and Buggy being just the saddest little clown in existence after that just makes me realize how her dying would just absolutely DESTROY him mentally huh? Pirating is a dangerous business after all… He’d still have his kids to ground him in this scenario but we’ve seen how he tends to handle this sort of loss by pushing it deep, deep down. Can easily imagine trying to rush trough the grieving process so he can be there for his children, never really recovering from loosing someone else like this. Again. Can’t exactly retire from pirating but that may or may not be the thing that makes him decide it’s time to find a place to lay low in, he’s seen too many people be ripped from his life over and over again and she was the final straw, he couldn’t imagine what it would do to him if the same thing happend to one of his three little stars. If you ever were to see Buggy at sea again you’d immediately notice something was off. He still paints his face, he still has a short temper and he keeps his clown motive, but the zest is gone. He’s doing what needs to be done and after he’s finished he’s not gonna stick around for victory feasts or drinks or sing shanties with everyone. He’ll happily leave his crew to do that on their lonesome as long as he can get home as soon as possible to the small pieces of family he has left.

…. All this to say to bring in a cake that reads „I am sorry for killing off your Oc.“ but the POTENTIAL is so delicious. And also to say that I inwardly think of this more as a „What if“ scenario, because Red is awesome. Why would you kill her off? Then she can’t be awesome anymore. And it’s not like One Piece is in dire need of dead moms. We don’t need another one. Buggy sees his wife style her hair and she does that „dead anime mom“ braid and asks him for his opinion and he’s instantly like „This is hideous never wear this again.“ and it just splits off that cursed timeline completely / lh

Ok so I had this ask in my inbox for like 2 years now and I think it's finally time I answer it, even if I don't think the anon here is still around.

My initial plan was to post the whole story I planned for the Redbomb triplet and then go like "SURPRISE! you preshot a lot of things!" But then I started learning more and more about one piece and realized my story didn't work with the lore, then my hyperfixation moved on Law (we don't talk about this period) and finally settled on Kid pirates and drawing Redbomb felt like a chore so I decided to give up, and I always pondered if I'd go back to it so I kept this ask aside just in case.

But now I'm absolutely sure that I WON'T finish Redbomb so if you're curious, I put how I intended the story to unfold under the cut.

I plan to bring back the Redbomb triplets soon, with a major focus on Rory, but it would take them out of the one piece universe (or, if you want to consider it that way, in a very modern very different AU). Follow #Apoptosis for more, and I hope you'll be happy to find back the triplets in their own journey!

My plans for the Redbomb story were the followings

At Sabaody, a celestial dragon get their eyes on Rory and Blaze. That's the moment the triplets got their first wanted poster, and this particular celestial dragon become obsessed with the idea of having a very unique "pet". Since Blaze and Rory have big red nose it makes them outstand and she especially ask for one of them.

At marineford, during the chaos, a mercenary spot Rory and Blaze and try to catch them. Red interpose and got killed, she manages to protect Rory but Blaze got captured.

After Red death, Buggy go deep deep down in depression. In this AU, he's the one who initiates the cross guild, because he wants the government to pay for the death of his wife.

Rory has a massive survivor guilt and decide to throw himself into work to occupy his mind. He goes to punk hazard to help Caesar with his researches, and eat a SMILE fruit, hoping it would act as an antidepressant. Turns out it wasn't a SMILE fruit. His psychosis and delusion go way, way worse.

Skye is mad as hell against Rory and Buggy for not doing anything to find Blaze back, so she decides to leave and join the revolutionary army to find back her brother. She cut her hair and dye them because it remind her too much of Buggy.

Here for the main plot. Like I said, I never stopped loving those characters, even when the hyperfixation died. And I'm very hyped by the idea of writing a new story for them again. It won't be tye same as initially planned, but it will have common themes of death, madness, addiction, and family.
