Okay so like imagine the reader isn’t dating her lover yet or anything but has a bad dream or just can’t sleep, and comes to sneak into their beds/sleeping spots beside them and shyly curls up with them! With Hosea, Bill, Micah and Dutch?

First time writing for Hosea… Hope I do okay. Gonna do a mix of the guys being awake still and already asleep and a mix of insomnia and bad dreams. Some of these are much longer than others and I’m sorry about that… ^_^”
Hosea
He’s still awake when he feels you move in beside him
He’s slow and quiet as to not scare/startle you
And he turns to you
“Is everything alright?” concern clear in his voice
You shake your head but don’t say a word
He’ll simply put his arms around you and hold you close
He won’t press any further on the matter
If you want to talk about it, he’s there to listen
But if not he’s always there for comfort when you need it
When you wake in the morning if you’re ready to talk he’ll listen
But he’ll bring you a coffee with a smile either way
Bill
He’s already asleep when you crawl in beside him
You’d think he’d be a heavy sleeper (especially with how much he drinks)
But he wakes up almost immediately
He’s quick to turn and ready to yell at whoever it is
But freezes when he sees it’s you
You’re obviously embarrassed
“I-I’m really sorry, Bill. I can’t sleep and…I should have asked first”
He shakes his head and has to clear his throat before he speaks
“S’alright. Ya can stay, if ya want. I won’t touch ya or nothin’.”
You give him a soft smile that makes his heart flip
“I know. I trust you.”
Oh what are you doing to him
He’ll have trouble falling asleep knowing you’re right behind him
Especially if you snuggle up to his back
It’ll take him a while to fall back to sleep because he’s worried about moving in his sleep or accidentally touching you
He doesn’t wanna wake up to you yelling at him
Soon enough he does fall asleep
And when he wakes he finds he has moved but only onto his back
And you’re the one holding onto his arm
He has to wait for his heart to calm down before he even thinks about moving (not that he wants to)
Micah
He doesn’t sleep much in camp
So instead of finding him on his bedroll you see him across camp at a table
Cleaning his guns again
You chew your lip, contemplating whether or not you should go over and talk to him
He seems to have trouble sleeping too
But probably doesn’t want to be bothered right now
Instead you make your way over to his empty bed roll and lay down
It smells like him, in a way, and it’s comforting
You’re almost asleep when he sees you there
At first he’s confused
And he honestly doesn’t know if he should just let you sleep there
It’s not like he was actually going to get any sleep himself
Instead he sits near the bedroll
The tiniest smile pulls at his lips
You risk a glance at him and he notices
The smile is gone and he sits up more
You start to sit up and apologize but he stops you
“I ain’t usin’ it,”
You nod and there’s a small awkward silence
After a moment you scooch over a bit but remain on the bedroll as you lay back down
Micah frowns in confusion again before he slowly lays down beside you
When you don’t start yelling at him he lets himself relax a bit
He stays awake longer than you and simply watches your body move with each breath
It soon enough lulls him to sleep, the first peaceful sleep he’s had in months
Dutch
That smug mf will immediately wrap his arms around you
And pretend to still be asleep
The smile on his face gives him away
But you don’t mind
And you snuggle in closer to him
In the morning he’ll feign innocence and confusion
But his smile once again gives him away
If you want to tell him about your dream he’ll listen
But he won’t ask or push you to talk about it
He will tease you about it the following night though
“You wanna get in now or wait till later?”
