Merry usually wears revealing clothing. Not only that, she can move better in battles because she is constantly hot. If she wore more layers, she would start sweating.

In my headcanon, Mihawk is more on the cooler temperature side. He always nuzzles up to Merry and uses her body heat to keep him warm in bed.

Using a Random Mario Species generator my friend made, I generated my own Paper Mario partners! I’ve designed 8, but here’s the first 4. Antdrew is an Antotto, an ant enemy from Super Mario Land 2. I imagine Antdrew being the starting partner with the Tattle ability. Igno is a Lethal Bob-omb, a Bob-omb thats always lit from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. Redthorn is a Chomp, which is a big plant enemy from Donkey Kong Country Returns. Finally, Pearl is a Virus from Dr. Mario. I thought it was clever to have a Virus with no color, and therefore no weakness to Megavitamins. What a fun art style to emulate!

My mom checked this book out from the library the other day. Tonight she comes in and asks, “Have you ever read this book before?” and shows me the cover.  “No,” I tell her, “But it looks like something I’d be into.” Then she shows me this excerpt and I low-key freak. I ask her a bit more about the book and she gives me a summary, and it sounds a lot like it was inspired by Saint Dymphna’s life and now I’m high-key freaking out. Deerskin by Robin McKinley. I gotta read this one if I can finish my current library book before it’s due.
