My Redwall Book Collection
🐭⚔🛡 The Redwall piece be done! I am so happy with this it. I did alot of experimentationswith it but, I am please with the end product.
Mathias, Jess Squirrel and the indomitable Basil Stag Hare setting out in their quest to rescue the kidnapped Dibbuns by Slagar the Cruel. "Even the strongest and bravest must sometimes weep. It shows they have a great heart, one that can feel compassion for others." —Cornflower (Redwall) 🌾🐭
These lovely ears are from Idolatre!
Cluny the Scourge, Warlord, the vile and evil Rat whos fixated on Redwall Abbey and dominating it. The first Redwall book opens with him heading his horde, out of control and careering towards the Abbey. Despite his aggression, he’s also very clever and finally his cunning gets him into the Abbey in the final chapters where he meets his end, not by the sword, but by the Abbey Bell crushing him. @redwallchapterart @redwalllover1988 @redwall-antagonist @redwallreadalong @redwallthoughts @ovalinthecircle @heatherwanderer @melly1 @thegoldensoundtwice @grymmdogma @knightofaegis @awake-under-the-yew-tree @falconlord5 @fruitso @dibbunsagainstbedtime @phantomchick
Garbool the Wild, a incredibly vile viscous and vengeful villain from Mariel of Redwall, the 4th book written by Brian Jacques of his Redwall series. We’re still reading this one so I don’t know what his comeuppance is. The lead character, Mariel, is a incredibly feisty female mouse. Her determination for revenge leads her on quite an adventure.
Sunflash the Mace and his life companion Skarlath the kestrel from Brian Jacques book The Outcasts of Redwall. I read the Redwall books when I was a child and now I’m enjoying them as an adult reading with my children. It’s one of the few book series I’ve read that seem to have a unselfconscious balance of strong female and male characters while being unashamedly epic in its storytelling... if that makes sense.
Abbott Mortimer, the genteel and kindly head of the Redwall Abbey community, who would have nothing to do with the defence of his Abbey and war against Clunny the Rat. Instead he devoted his time to healing the wounded from both sides of the conflict which is the way of all Redwall creatures. Didn’t work of course, silly old buggers killed by Clunny’s poisoned tail barb! Ha!THAT’S A LESSON PEOPLE, DON’T BE A DECENT PERSON, ONLY TOTAL SHITS GET PLACES! Hurumph.
