Summary
"Go to the cabin at the end of the path and enter the basement. The future of the entire world is in your hands." That's what the note Katsuki finds in his pocket says. Lost in an endless forest with nothing better to do, he begrudgingly accepts the mission.
To his surprise, inside he finds Deku chained to the wall. Because he's not a complete asshole, he sets out to rescue him. However, it soon becomes apparent to him that this is not the Deku he knows. Fearing that he's been baited into a trap, Katsuki tries to leave the cabin, only to realize he's been locked up in there.
Will he be able to get out on his own? Will he be forced to trust and rely on someone he's always looked down on? Or will he fall prey to his own flaws and fears?

I've finally decided what project I'm going to focus on next! I'm going to work on the second part of my My Hero Academia x Slay the Princess duology. This one will focus on Bakugo and, although it follows one of the canon routes, will do so more loosely than the first part.
When I first started planning this second fic, my main difficulty was choosing what route to follow. I had a very clear vision for Princess!Bakugo, but I had a hard time deciding what route was best suited for Princess!Deku. In the end, I decided to just start a new playthrough and ask myself, 'What would Bakugo do?' So far, I think I made a good decision.
In this scenario, what do you think would be Princess!Deku's final form? (I've already made my choice, but I'm curious what other people think)

Things get even more complicated when he discovers that the prince is, in fact, Katsuki. And they get even messier after Izuku dies. It's a very shitty situation overall, but there has to be a way out. Right?

I really like the 3rd MHA ED and I've been wanting to write a fic in that setting for a while. I've been a fantasy fan all my life, so I think I'll have a lot of fun working on this.
That being said, I still haven't completely figured out some parts in the middle of the story, so I might be a little slower than usual updating it. If that doesn't bother you, you're more than welcome to check it out and tell me what you think 😄

I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the middle part of the fic, so here's one of my favorite paragraphs to prove (mostly to myself) that I am making progress, even if it's slow
He flexes the fingers of one hand as if he's about to flick something and aims at his forearm, right above the cuff that binds his wrist. There's a violent gust of wind; next thing I know, the wall is stained red and Deku's no-longer-chained hand is on the floor.
Alright, so I think I've figured out the part of the fic I was having the most trouble with and the first draft -though still incomplete- already has more than 5K words. We're slowly getting there ✌️
In the end, I've decided to combine two different routes, one inside the other. One of the Princesses is Deku as he really is and the other one represents Bakugo's insecurities and guilt. I'm having a lot of fun writing this last one. Here's a glimpse of this "route within a route":
ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER HERE
I read the sign and frown. That phrase seems familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen it before.
I look around. Even though I've never been in a place like this before, I recognize it as an old-fashioned circus. Very old-fashioned, actually - from the 19th or 20th century.
Right now I'm standing in the queue that leads inside. For what reason, I have no idea, but I don't have time for that. Shit keeps piling up on my plate and I've had enough. I'm getting out of-
'Kacchan!'
The Deku that waves at me from the entrance to the tent before running towards me is probably four or five years old. Before I can really process what's happening, he tugs on my sleeve. 'Come on, it's about to start. We're going to have a lot of fun!'
