90000 years late to this topic but I was trying to figure out how to draw Pippinses and came to the following conclusions

*no matter which way a Pippins is facing, their head is an elongated hexagon (except when it's a die) and their body is a square/diamond

*the chin is always in front of the body except when viewing the sprite from the back

*the red or green part is NOT the poncho. the black part is (except that one attack-preparation sprite where the arm color is above the black part). the red/green is underneath (I interpret it as a sweater with full-arm gloves) (though you all who draw it as a poncho are rockstars never stop kthx)

*is that a tie or a brooch or a pendant? are they wearing a dress shirt or is that just their body? the answer is any or all of the above

[Secrets of Homelander's Costume from The Boys] By Adam Savage's Tested

Not sure if it's been shared on here yet, but for all my fellow artists who are The Boys fans, you'll be salivating at the level of detail we get to see in this video featuring Homelander's suit because it's excellent reference material!

I personally love collating a bunch of references like a madman with a murder board whenever I draw anything, particularly character / fan art. I was really hoping we'd get a retrospective look at some The Boys costuming and props, and my wish was granted.

While we're on the subject, another excellent source of reference material for scenery and costumes of The Boys comes in the form of an official Vought international Amazon website. Here we have 360 / panoramic room tours and some 3D model references of Homelander and Butchers outfits. I've used these frequently myself for reference while drawing. I'm not sure how much longer this site will be up for (I've been meaning to screen record it to save the references for future use myself).

This video is made in respect to a prop auction (I'm in no way affiliated or sponsored, fyi) occurring from June 2nd - to June 30th 2026, which also hosts a bunch of props and costumes from the show that would provide great reference material for fan artists and cosplayers, such as soldier Boy's shield.

Through the auction website, we're also blursed with bizarre images like this. It's giving me "Don't talk to me or my son ever again" vibes.

Some lucky (or warped) soul out there will be purchasing the Homelander fursuit. Ok, ok, it's a mascot suit. The Boys x FNAF when?

In a room made of white marble, a large mirror reflected Demyx as he prepared to leave for the mission. He took particular care with his hairstyle, painstakingly manipulating the brown strands with a comb to make them stand straight up. Saïx observed him from behind with what appeared to be distaste. In stark contrast to Demyx, Saïx left his long blue hair unstyled. The X-shaped scare on his forehead was all the style he needed.

"What d'you want? I'm kinda busy." Irritated, Demyx turned around.

Instead of responding, the other man simply disappeared.

“Excuse me?!” Demyx shouted at the space where Sais had been standing.

And then, as if to take Saix's place, Xigbar appeared with his hood low over his eyes. "Ready yet?"

"...Yeah, yeah, just about, Demyx replied apathetically. "Yknow, Xigbar, I don't really think I'm the best suited for tailing somebody..."

"Orders are orders, and you can't go against the big man himself. Or did you forget?"

“..Hmph."

Not the most satisfying answer. Demyx scowled and leaned on the sitar in his hand.

"Anyway, you're going to be saying hello first," Xigbar added.

"Huh?"

"The hero and his little entourage are out and about. Saix heard their voices."

"Uh-huh...," Demyx said, more like a sigh than a response, and frowned.

He couldn't hear the voices.

He may have been assigned a number, but he knew perfectly well that he just wasn't cut out for fighting. All he could do was control water by playing music. He didn't think of himself as especially strong. And shadowing the Keyblade wielder-or rather, Roxas—really didn't sound like much fun.

Still, he couldn't defy the organization. For that sole reason, he had to follow his orders.

"Time to get going," Xigbar said.

"Okay, okay..." Demyx shouldered his sitar and vanished.

"He really is a handful." Xigbar chuckled to himself and likewise disappeared from the room.

Also, the same disclaimer applies: I am biased and I make some jokes throughout. This is not an impartial document! Also, this isn't all that serious! Its surface level information for the most part, and designed to be a good way to cover a lot of basics! If there is anything anyone wants me to add, please let me know!
