Froskip is a playful amphibian Pokémon found in glacial freshwater pools. It uses its oversized tail fin and head fin to propel itself through icy water with surprising speed. The large external gill fins expanding from its cheeks are highly sensitive, able to detect vibrations caused by predators or prey under ice.
Biology:
Froskip’s internal temperature stays warm due to an insulating mucous layer and anti-freese like liquidpresent in its blood, helping it survive in subzero waters. It often burrows into slushy snowbanks during blizzards, entering a light sleep to conserve energy.

Appearance:
Froskip has a compact, rounded body covered in smooth, pale ice-blue and white skin. Its head is adorned with a large rounded dark blue and white fin and a predominantly white body with dark blue small spots that resemble splatted water.
Froskip like its Hoenn counterpart sports large, fin-like cheeks that fan out from either side of its head, translucent and tinged with a light lavender-blue hue that are highly sensative.
Its expressive, deep black eyes give it a curious and gentle demeanor. The tail is its most striking feature—large, wide, and shaped like a butterfly fin, hinting at its aquatic agility.
