Today is the day. Exam 1. The essay exam.
I'm a big believer in the mentality 'train hard, fight easy.' I'm hoping it pays off for me today. As predicted, I didn't sleep. Given how unwell I am there actually isn't any anxiety though. I just can't breathe because my nose is so congested. So all those Saturday and Sunday mornings I forced myself to get up and write an essay regardless of how tired or lazy I was feeling, I'm really going to be drawing on them today.
Hopefully I've learned enough and can remember enough to throw 50mins worth of words into a handwritten article. But who knows. There's a little bit of freedom in knowing that if I fail, given how sick I am, I'll have a pretty good excuse.
Please wish me luck. This exam has been 3.5 years in the making...
Ok so i know little to no one will see this but can i just say, as someone who works as an assistant registrar in a museum,
@artists
IF YOU MAKE A WEBSITE FOR YOUR ART
LIST YOUR BIRTH DATE AND PLACE OF BIRTH
This is information we need for our records and for labels.
If a museum ends up purchasing or being donated a piece of yours, we have to go serching for that information and if you don't list it you just make it super difficult for us. We have to personally reach out and artists dont always answer and it screws our records up and slows everything down.
