This fic specifically is crimeduo focused, they travel together to a witch town called Autmile, where they will eventually meet the rest of SBI!! please lmk what you think of it once you check it out!

caregiver!cc!wilbur headcanons!

He can and will sing to his little(s), sometimes even play guitar for them if they want him too.

He caregives primarily for Tommy, but also frequently babysits for Tubbo, Techno, and any of his other friends who may need someone to look after them.

Since he doesn't really live near anyone who he caregives for, he's become a bit of a master at digital/distance caregiving.

He uses a lot pretty common and sugary nicknames. 'Sweetheart,' 'love,' and 'darling' are all in frequent rotation.

He calls Tommy 'sunshine' when he's being sweet with him and continues to call him 'gremlin' when they're being playful.

He tends to be very soft and lenient with regressors, much preferring to encourage/reinforce good behavior than to punish or be stern with bad behavior.

Even when he does end up having to put his foot down, he's still as gentle as he can be while still being effective. On the rare occasion that he does have to scold or give a punishment, he feels really bad and afterwards he reiterates over and over again how much he loves them and how he's not mad at them.

He'll mail them all sorts of gifts. Tommy has an entire drawer's worth of trinkets from Wilbur, plus some stuffed animals. Most of his actual agere gear was ordered to his house by Wilbur. He's absolutely more than rich enough to get his own, but it makes Wilbur feel happy and having the surprise is nice.

When Wilbur DOES have the opportunity to caregive in person, he's SO cuddly and physically affectionate and doting.

He has a pretty specific Caregiver Headspace that he gets really immersed in, even more so than most caregivers. Caring for regressors is really soothing and re-centering to him, and he honestly gets just as much out of caregiving arrangements as the regressors do.

how different people would react to seeing regressed wilbur eating sand.

Tommy (regressor): does his best to help him smuggle sand into his pockets to take home without Phil noticing and stepping in

Techno (regressor): fretting and trying to decide whether or not he should tell Phil

Phil (caregiver): extremely exasperated and threatens to cut the beach day short if he keeps putting sand in his mouth and in his pockets

Niki (babysitter): tries to sweet talk him into not eating sand

Tubbo (regressor): tries a mouthful of sand as well, just in case he's onto something. he is not.

Ranboo (regressor): fretting with techno and feeling betrayed when Tubbo starts eating sand too

Quackity (babysitter): attempts to bribe him into stopping with ice cream

Karl (regressor): follows him around and watches and asks him what it tastes like

Sapnap (regressor): laughs and cheers him on

George (regressor): quietly watches it all happen from a ways away for a while. everyone thinks that he either doesn't care or disapproves, until he walks over to Wilbur with a handful of sand from the other side of the beach and asks him if it tastes any different.

Dream (babysitter): laughs a bit before gently but firmly telling him that he needs to stop

Skeppy (regressor): immediately starts yelling and tattles on him to Bad, not because he thinks it's a bad idea, just because he feels like causing problems and wants to see what'll happen

Bad (babysitter): kind of shocked because he isn't used to Wilbur's chaos mode yet, and very worriedly tells him that he should stop

Eret (babysitter): genuinely asks Wilbur why he's eating sand and then tries to help him understand why it's not a good idea

Fundy (regressor): kind of trails behind him and watches it all happen with a sort of morbid transfixion

Regresses to around 3-5 and 8-10.

Involuntary and voluntary regressor.

Spends a LOT of time regressed, more so than anyone else on the SMP. He basically regresses any time that it's safe to do so and he doesn't have to stay big for something else.

Since he's regressed so much of the time, he has quite a few caregivers. The ones that look after him the most often are Wilbur, Phil, and Sam. Aside from that, almost everyone has babysat and/or been a playmate for him at some point.

He can look after himself in a pinch, especially if he's in his older range, but he REALLY does not like to. He has trauma and attachment/abandonment issues, and he gets stressed out and upset if he's left alone, especially while regressed.

He's prone to dysregulation, including tantrums, anxiety attacks, flashbacks, and crying.

Tubbo is a regressor as well, and he's Tommy's very favorite person to play with. His favorite caregiver is Wilbur, but his connection with Tubbo is very profound and special. Tubbo will caregive for him if it's necessary, but usually they're just playmates.

When Tommy is in his younger range, he's a lot quieter and calmer than Big Tommy is. When he's in his older range, he has about the same energy level, sometimes a bit more.

He REALLY likes being read to and being told stories, especially from Phil and Techno and other people who have been on lots of adventures.

Little Tommy is clingy clingy clingy. He'll typically pick someone to latch onto and then basically not let them out of his sight until he's either big again or he's been passed off to someone else.

if tommy wakes up before a cg/friend while small, or he just gets a second to himself, he will sneak around and do 'epic pranks'. they're usually as simple and harmless as putting stickers on your face while you're sleeping but he thinks he's very rebellious

One time he wrote 'pee' on Wilbur's hand in sharpie and was completely convinced that he was the funniest and cleverest prankster in the whole universe. Wilbur thought it was endearing, he just wasn't so fond of how people kept asking about it for the rest of the day.

:D headcanons for tommy accidentally regressing while staying w techno after exile? or maybe techno seeing tommy try not to regress and kinda coaxing it out of him so tommy can relax for a lil bit :3

I like the way you think, anon. Hopefully these are okay!!

Tommy is resistant to the idea of regressing in front of Techno because he doesn’t like showing that kind of vulnerability to him and he thinks that he won’t get it. 

But surprise, Techno is a regressor himself (albeit a pretty different one than Tommy, but still), and picks up on Tommy trying to keep himself from slipping pretty quick. 

When he approaches Tommy about it, he tries his best to be gentle about it and not to scare him off, but still comes off a bit awkward and stiff on account of him having poor social skills in general. 

Tommy gets defensive at first because he’d gotten so used to the idea of Techno Finding Out = Bad Bad Things, but he cools down about it after Techno doesn’t push it and just says that there’s a standing offer to take care of him if he ever needs it and he has some time to process. 

When he eventually does let himself slip in front of Techno, he doesn’t announce it. He just waits for a quiet moment where they aren’t very busy and waits for him to notice. 

When he does notice, Techno doesn’t really make a huge deal about it, just shifts in demeanor so he’s softer and more protective/caring. 

Tommy is significantly more subdued than he is when he regresses around Wilbur or Tubbo or his other friends and family.

Phil stops by for a bit while Tommy is regressed, and takes it extremely in stride, because he’s pretty used to Techno regressing and is thusly already familiar with the concept and knows how to act. 

Techno takes Tommy to the turtle farm because he gets kind of antsy and he likes the turtles and likes having something to do.

After the first time, Tommy doesn’t start voluntarily regressing or anything, but he stops repressing and masking so hard because he knows that Techno is a safe person to be little around.

for the r!tommy asks: since you talk a lot about cc! wilbur regressing without realising what if like eventually he gets a name for it and is like 'ah yes child arc' and he notices Tommy starting to do the same kind of behaviour that he was (before he had a name for it) and hes like!! 'tommy!!! do you know about this?' and he does that thing he does where hes basically just infodumping and hes very excited about potentially having a regressor buddy and tommys just like🧍 'wilbur im a teenager on the internet i know what regression is' and then fluff

I have to say that I have not considered that Tommy would be the one to introduce age regression as an established concept to Wilbur but I'm absolutely obsessed with this and perhaps we might consider writing a story with this premise (with your permission ofc)
