Trial of the new field stethmic
The previous "field" mic that I used to record my heartbeat on the move (hiking or cycling) stopped working because of loose soldering. I hope that I can do better second time. This is the first trial; I recorded my heartbeat while doing housework, so you can hear tap water running and tableware clinking.
Sharing heartbeat
My heartbeat recorded while I was sharing over Skype, this is what she heard. I was lying on the stomach, with a little bit of pressure on the chest, that is why it is somewhat whooshy, and also noisy because I moved when I typed.
I have a little better recording equipment, so I gave it another shot. Stethmic is in the pulmonary area, so as not to obscure the PMI. Autofocus is not doing a particularly good job, but oh well. Enhoy!

When I lie on the back and turn my knees and the lower torso to the right, an interesting whooshing sound appears at the tricuspid auscultation point.
