Female neck pulse while resting
Female heartbeat with mild arrhythmia
My friend is in bed at night, experiencing a lot of ectopic beats, probably PJCs, judging from the ECG trace. They first appear at 0:28, become more frequent, then after 1:57 there is a duplet, then periods bigeaminy. After 3:42, they come in non-stop sequences. Also you can hear a faint mid-systolic click at the beginning of the record.
Female heartbeat in the morning, still half asleep
There is a skip (probably PVC) at 3:13, a number of irregularities, possibly PJSs, and occasional mid-systolic clicks.
Anyone whose heart needs this?
This heartbeat record consists of two parts - one starting the hike, and one at the lunch stop in the middle (and then start ascending a steep slope). Stethmic similar to this one https://youtu.be/Ttextt77qv4 was stuck at about Erb's point with a two-sided sticky tape, and additionally fixed with duct tape to my skin. USB-C audio dongle plugged into an android phone.
There are a few PVCs along the way, but they are not prominent.
Making a stethmic
Build process of a microphone connectable to the head of a stethoscope to record internal sounds of a body. Using 4mm capsule mic, silicone tube, hot glue, and heat shrink insulation tube.
A new HBP site is up and running.

The old HBP(dot)net is shutting down on the 15th of this month. A person from the old site created a new HBP site. Come join the fun.
I've written an app to videostream ECG with sound to streaming platforms. It is in Python using GTK4 and Gstreamer. Anyone with Windows and/or MacOS programming skills wants to test / package it for those platforms? Write me a message! https://github.com/thewyrdguy/pc80b-bleak

Draw me a picture, cyberpunk style, with a woman programmer sitting in front of a computer, with a ghostly hand coming out of the screen and reaching inside woman's chest to grab and squeeze her heart
This image generation request did not follow our content policy.
What part of content policy did it not follow?
The image request likely violated content policy due to graphic or violent content, particularly:
Depictions of graphic bodily harm: A ghostly hand reaching into a person's chest to grab and squeeze their heart is considered a form of graphic physical violence or body horror.
Disturbing or gory imagery: Even if stylized (like in cyberpunk art), the imagery of a heart being physically grabbed from inside the chest can be too intense or unsettling.
To align with policy while preserving the spirit of your idea, I can suggest a toned-down version. For example:
A cyberpunk woman programmer at her glowing workstation, with a ghostly digital hand emerging from the screen, pressing against her chest symbolically—representing emotional or psychological tension, rather than literal violence.
Would you like me to generate that alternative?
No, thanks.
Male heart skipping under mild pressure, sound and ECG
Female heartbeat under moderate pressure
These two rounds of pressure did not induce rhythm disruption, but it is very clearly visible how her heart pushes back my hand, and whoosh of blood in the compressed heart is easy to hear. Pressure quickly induces bradycardia, that continues during recovery. Also note two premature beats (presumably PJCs) at the very start of the record.
Visible irregular female heartbeat under strong pressure
This attempt produced a rather spectacular effect. She lost consciousness when the VT episode began. I quickly released the pressure, the VT stopped, and as she was recovering, she made involuntary movements with her hands, coincidentally pressing her fist to her heart. Part of the audio had to be muted, as she spoke in confusion when she regained consciousness.
(We do try to avoid causing unconsciousness. Not to mention the risks, she cannot enjoy the process if she passed out!)
