HE’S BACK
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
This One Perfect Moment
Growing older. Everything hurts and nothing works. Never quite made it all the way to well, and yet, despite life’s seemingly endless array of finite obstacles and apparent imperfections, I sense a presence somehow strangely familiar. Perhaps a dear friend from years, ages, lifetimes, or even aeons ago, I’m Wordlessly aware that peace dwells within my spirit today. My soul rejoices. Free to both give and receive love, I am slowly awakening to the truth that in spite of any and all evidence presented by physical emanations of apparitions to the contrary, peace, love, and I therefore, are more than capable, prepared for, and deserving of being fully alive in this one perfect moment we call today. Peace and love, I pray they dwell within each of you as well.
But I trust in Your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in Your salvation.
Psalm 13:5
You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’ He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. - John 3:28-29 | New King James Version (NKJV)
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
