Enamour/Enamory

The ability to form amorous amato-relationship(s).

Enamor/enamorous comes from Spanish enamorar/enamoramiento. Using namoro/namorar in Portuguese.

E/namoring is synonymous to dating, amorousness, infatuation, courtship, affectionateness, bint, gallant, crush, mash, carryings-on, woo, flirt, passion, love, mania, craze, glow, fire, addition, vehemence, rabidity, ardour, zeal, flame and serious and closed relationships.

As Iberophone is romance languages, there's totally a line between amory and having a boyfriend/girlfriend, although they are simply translated as the same thing. Romance does not essentially have to do with friendship, so gamous relationships tend to be non-amical.

Romance is historically linked to sexual desire as it's associated with Eros/erotic love, additionally to monogamy/polygamy and fidelity. Desiring relationships isn't necessarily involving socializing genders into attraction and people, then it's like neutrally naturally being just a social relationship, while asocials can post-struct it all.

Being enamored/enamoured is very self-interpreting, only you can determine when your relationship is amorous or not. Whether it's anarchical/hierarchical or open/closed, free or close minded.

Amato- encompasses both romantic and quasiplatonic experiences, qplatonic seen as a decolonized/deimperialized amory.

Enamouring isn't linked to e-partnership. It could be an amor compañero, (companionship).

This form of "love" contradicts with ethical non-monogamy and agamy.

What are the odds of both of my loves having a bad day at the same time? 😞 And they're too darn far away to ask them if they need help or something (not that I can do anything significant to improve their specific situations right now tho)

Una vez hace muchos años, expresé estar enamoradx de dos personas a la vez. Y, resumiendo, me hicieron la clásica pregunta: ¿Querés más a A o a B? Lo que me dejó muy confundidx durante años y años fue el hecho de que no solo no pude responder por el lado poliamoroso, sino porque, para mi, era como si me pidieran comparar dos cosas con sistemas de medición diferentes. Uno de mis amores eran metros, el otro eran litros. Y por eso, entre otras cuestiones, es que soy anarquista relacional. No es que lxs amara por igual... es que no había punto de comparación siquiera. ~ Once many years ago, I expressed being in love with two people at the same time. And, in short, they asked me the classic question: Do you love more A or B? What left me very confused for years and years was the fact that not only I could not answer for the polyamorous side, but because, for me, it was as if I were asked to compare two things with different measurement systems. One of my loves was meters, the other was liters. And that's why, among other things, I'm a relational anarchist. It's not that I loved them the same... is that there was no point of comparison at all.

"More"

What does "more" really mean when sex and intimacy aren't the dividing lines between friendship and romantic partnership? This is something I had to actively work through for myself last night when a knee-jerk emotional reaction to being told there was no desire for anything more than friendship by someone caught me off guard and made me incredibly uncomfortable.

Of the things that went through my head while I was trying to work out what exactly was bothering me, I had to ask myself:

What is it exactly that I want?

What exactly does "more" mean in this instance?

Am I just wanting a change of labels?

And if so, why is that important?

And how would "more" change what we already have?

So, what do I want? What's important to me? Well, I want to share sex and intimacy with someone that I like and care about and count as a friend and can talk to. And I want us to be compassionate toward each other. 

Ok... well I already have that, lol. So what else is there? The label? Is that really what's bothering me?

Relationship labels tend to carry with them a lot of unreasonable expectations for me. The expectation that this person is now responsible for my emotional well-being and obligated to spend time with me is a pretty big one and it's one I tend to want to avoid.

So what was I looking to change? Why was I upset? In truth, I had what I wanted and what was important to me. I value what we have and there is nothing that I'm actually looking to change.

And the very second that last thought entered my mind, the tears stopped and it was like there was never a problem and I was happy.
