Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight. One day, Soviesh*t humiliated Navier by bringing a mistress, Trashta, in their home, takes her side instead of Navier’s, treated her horribly by making her feel that it’s all her fault, and when the truth about Navier came to light, he divorced her so that his child by Trashta would be the next in line to the throne. And after the hurt he put his wife through, he divorced her. And after the divorce, he doesn’t want her to remarry and live her own life, instead, he wants her to stay with him with his new empress, saying that he loves her?

If Navier is the person he wants to be with, why did he hurt her? Why did he humiliated her? Why make her life hell? Why make her feel sorry for herself when the fault lies in Soviesh*t and Trashta?

About Navier being infertile, why not adopt their nephew or niece as their child and heir, just like Julius Caesar did with Octavius? Or why not appoint a distant relative as their heir? He goes so far as to bring a mistress home and divorce his lawful wife so he may have an heir.
