Always be with the Lord whatever you are doing; always turn your mind to Him.  Try to behave as one would before a King.  Mneme Theou, remembering God, means reconnecting oneself to God and His grace.  What is involved, to put it another way, is ‘to remember with the heart’.

Hey guys, it is day 4 of our study of 2 Timothy 1:1-8. For the next three days I want to talk about what verse 7 tells us. The main thing that verse 7 tells us is what the power of the spirit gives us. In the last three days in our study we talk about Thanking God, remembering God, and Taking care of our flame. Today I want to talk about the power of the spirit ( part 1). In verse 7 it starts off by saying “ For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid...” What does timid mean? Timid means scared or not confident. Paul tells us that the spirit does not call us to be timid. The first thing that Paul states is that the Spirit gives us power. Those our you who are note takers, not this 

- Day 1 Thanking God

- Day 2 Remembering God 

- Day 3 Taking Care Of The Flame

- Day 4 The Spirit Gives Us Power 

What Paul means by this is the Spirit gives us the power to stand strong in the faith. The power of the Spirit gives strength to stay way from Satan's lies. This is all because Christ lives in us.

Remembering Yahweh is not simply an act of religious devotion. It is confessing a relation which keeps life historical, which assures that newness comes from outside us, that life is not at our disposal, that gifts can be given, that amazement and gratitude are possible. Today's thoughts

As we get farther in to the semester and the amount of homework we have piles up just remember to keep God first. It isn't easy when we all have busy schedules but just take a few minutes to thank Him for the day and everything He's given you.
