A random impulse! Does anyone wanna make up a pokemon fandom accent meme? It could be even more fun than the basic accent meme, cos a lot of pokemon don’t have intuitive pronounciations, and some have even had multiple canon ones in the games and anime! So yeah, does anyone have any particular pokemon or trainers or town names or etc that were particularly hard to pronounce? We need to gather a good ‘ol list!

Oh, and this idea randomly came to mind cos I am STILL trying to remember that the official anime pronounciation of Charon is ‘karron’. STILL! And the biggest other problem I’ve ever had with memorising unintuitive pronounciations was actually the word meme! I kept calling it ‘mem meh’ for like FIVE YEARS, even after people told me the real version. I wish there was an easy strategy to fix this sort of stupid brain fart!
