Things that fukcing scare me in this ongoing tech apocalypse

AI-powered cybercrime: Used by criminals, evil governments, or even an evil AI itself)

Weaponized AI driven drones: Cheap, scalable, and hard to stop - superweapon

AI wiping out huge parts of the workforce / economy: Not just white-collar, not just software and doing it insanely fast

Losing control of AI systems: We already don’t fully understand what they do or how they do it and it gets worse

Tech-fueled authoritarianism: Mass surveillance, behavior control, power concentrating - fast

Society starting to break: Jobs disappearing, people feeling useless, constant surveillance, loss of trust in systems like science, rising instability, rising inequality, racism, mysogyny - perfect breeding ground for fascist systems

The human brain optimizing for laziness: We offload everything to tech, thinking less, remembering less, getting dumber faster than we expect

Cognitive decline at scale: Skills fading because we don’t use them anymore

What kind of world my children will grow up in? What choices they’ll actually have, what “normal” even looks like for them?

And all of this accelerating. not linear, but exponential, feeding into itself faster and faster
