Renew The Bold Type

As someone who has been sexually assaulted (at a very young age), tonight's episode of the bold type brought me to tears. I can say with absolute conviction that I've never witnessed a scene that impacted me as much as when Jaqueline took those weights. (And I'm an avid watcher of Law & Order SVU). What makes this episode even more powerful to me was her keeping it all to herself, on her shoulders. That's still something that I relate to today. It made me realize that the weight of this is still on me. My whole body started to tremble, visually shake because the words were hitting so close to home. This show handled this topic with so much care and if it does get cancelled, I can honestly say that they'll never be another like it.
