I think I make my f/os and ocs experience tragedy because it’s nice to feel like people hurt and suffer emotionally for you but not in a way where it feels like it’s your fault (even if it could be in-universe)

Like, to be loved deeply and painfully and to understand every inch of that experience and know it’s for you and they bear all that for you because you’re worth it and it’s what they want
