Usage of the content on YouTube

VOCALOID and English/German covers

I am mainly a VOCALOID coverist, who sings in Japanese mostly, also rarely translating songs into German. Besides singing VOCALOID songs, I also cover English songs that you might hear on the radio or not.

Please note that the instrumentals are officially released ones and therefore I do not own any rights to them. I often ask the composers or download them from the provided links.

I have listed the things down below that I would like you to avoid:

Reposting any covers of mine to any streaming platform (i.e YouTube, nicovideo, billibilli…)

▪ This is already my job, so please hold yourself back from reuploading my videos/covers.

a) The only exception for reposting content which I posted, is reposting on audio streaming platforms like Spotify and SoundCloud. However, getting paid by streaming them is strongly prohibited and unless I haven’t posted them within 2 weeks, you are allowed to freely repost. Just keep in mind that full credits to the composer, lyricist, illustrator and singer is the meat and potatoes, as well as posting a link to the cover version and original work.

b) You are allowed to use my cover versions in your videos, as long as they are being used for personal use and as audio streaming content only in gameplays, speedpaints, animations, memes, Vlogs and videos that share similar category. If you want to create a lyrics video, please contact me before doing so. Using full visuals or stolen pictures including audio is seen as reprinting and therefore prohibited! Include a link to the cover version and give full credits.

c) Editing my cover versions for nightcore, mashups, (re)arrangements, etc. is allowed. However, it has to be clearly stated as such in your video title or description. Don't forget the credits!

• Using my German/English translyrics without permission/giving credits or claiming them as your property

Besides being a coverist, I am also a music producer, going by the name Cawer who’s composing dark themed VOCALOID songs.

Please note that the music, lyrics, tuning, animation, mixing and mastering is made by myself, unless stated otherwise. The illustration is mostly made by artists that I paid or artists that I asked. 

I have listed the things down below that I would like you to avoid:

Reposting my originals to YouTube

▪ There is no need in reposting my videos on YouTube, when they are already there, so please hold yourself back from doing so.

Reuploading my original work to audio streaming platforms, such as Soundcloud, Bandcamp and Spotify is also prohibited. 

▪ I'll most likely upload them myself to Soundcloud, so doubles aren't necessary.

b) Only exceptions for reposting on YouTube and Soundcloud are nightcore versions or mashups, that aren’t being monetized. However, full credits have to be given in addition with a link to the original uploader and video!

c) Also allowed is using my originals for personal use, non-monetized and as audio streaming content only in videos such as: speedpaints, vlogs, gameplays, memes, animations, lyrics videos, mmds, etc. As well as the examples above; please do not forget to give full credits!
