First post (kind of)
Today is my 12th birthday, perfect day for a fresh start!
As you know I got into some sort of a mess for all…this. Somehow the news about me blogging in a muggle website got into the ministry (I suspect that Martha is the one behind it, we got into her later). Long story short I got into a lot of troubles after that. First, the howler from my mom, it was my first howler, so opening it was the scariest experience of my life. And some sort of warnings from the ministry, detentions directly from the headmistress, etc, etc, etc. And here I am, still trying.
I just thought since there’s so many witches (and probably some wizards) making blog here I’d be safe from all that? I thought that after the war, they’re more open to muggle technology, so yeah, why not blogs and internet? Turns out that I’m wrong, this thing is still a bit controversial. There’s some pro-muggles at ministry who bring up the importance of having muggles’ magic (aka technology), they’re working on some sort of middle way between two worlds. But anyway, I’m just a 11 year old girl who love to write and would love if people read it. That’s it.
So how do I get back here? All thanks to Ben Smith, he told me all the things I need. He told me that I don’t need to actually ‘connect’ to the internet, but I could ‘magically’ posting it instead. In that way, muggles can’t see it. So yeah, if you’re here, you’re a wizard or a witch. I can even give passwords if I want certain wizards and witches read it.
That’s the way to do it. I don’t need to sneak out to use my phone. I’m not even using any sort of gadget here. I’m just writing in the notebook. This is how we ‘connect’. This is our 'internet’. No one told me because no one cares about a first grader who wanted to be a writer, except Ben Smith. (I might write about him someday if he don’t mind)
I’d try to post daily. I’m honest. 'Try to’ is the lowest expectation you can give to someone. I hope I won’t get into anymore trouble after this, now that I’m on ‘legal’ way to blog.
Oh, and I’d like to say thank you to all my friends who helped me get through all that. Thank you so much.
Anyway, since we talked about it, I’d like to hear about your first howler. How did you get it, who send it, and how it feels etc. Leave a message, please!
