Curious creature. It clearly does not hail from Cardassia. Was this one of the creatures that the ungrateful bajorans warmed you towards? Perhaps if they spent more time building statues of their savior they wouldn't have need for such a petty "companion". No wonder the Bajorans are so weak.

(yes I felt slimy writing this yes that means I got his characterization right)
Like horny for his bike? Or gay reference to bikers?
LORD I WISH
I think it was more the fact he's like 18 with even dumber views than he has in the current comics and is worrying whether its ok for Judges to derive enjoyment from literally anything
So way back when I was into Doctor Who a lot, I had quite a fun time thinking up ways to make crossovers with my other favorite shows. I have a whole document full of crossover ideas, but I'm going to focus on one in particular that I've always wanted to write.
This is a crossover between Doctor Who and Young Justice (specifically the cartoon that was on CN and is now on HBO Max, and specifically Season One). I'm going to share the plot summary I wrote up about 10.5 years ago, and then some sketchy snippets I have written as well.
The summary:
The Team (sans Kaldur [mostly because I couldn't figure out what to do with him...]) have been tasked with protecting Dr. Atticus Ellison, head scientist of the top secret Project Dometop. Several team members on Dometop have gone briefly missing in the last month, and a few days before the Team’s assignment, the lab where Dometop is being held was broken into. Dometop is apparently days away from a major breakthrough, and Ellison is paranoid about it being compromised or his person being abducted like the others on his team. The protection detail at a museum gala goes fairly well until a sudden power outage causes the team to leap into action. They find Ellison in a service corridor with a woman who entered the gala under the name Augusta Smith, but immediately gives herself up and confesses her name is River Song. She claims that she’s trying to save the world, but no one actually believes her.
Since the trouble is apparently at an end (River confessed to everything), Ellison dismisses the team to go about their business while he goes to the lab for a quick check on Dometop. While the Team is debating what exactly to do about River, a report comes in of an explosion at the lab where Dometop is located. After some doing, River convinces them to look into it, and once they’re inside, she basically takes charge and explains everything: Dometop is believed by Ellison to be some sort of alien technology fallen to Earth, and he’s partly right. What he never guessed was that there was something alive in the little dome-topped machine he uncovered: what’s sitting in the middle of his laboratory is a still living but just barely non-functional Dalek, fallen through time or some crack in the dimensions to end up here. River has been trying to prevent Ellison’s team from fixing the Dalek enough to allow it to beam a message out to its fellows, and they have to act quickly to kill the Dalek before all of Earth is doomed. (The Doctor makes a brief appearance, just in time for the dénouement.)
And now, a few snippets behind the cut... (these are mostly from the latter part of the plot, when River has convinced the Team that she's right and they're preparing to fight the Dalek)
“Nothing ever goes as planned. That's rule number eighteen, though I've told him a few times it should be closer to the top. It's practically his motto.”
“Told who? You keep mentioning this guy, who is he? Your boyfriend?”
She laughed. “Sometimes. It's complicated, believe me. The life of the time traveler.”
“The--what? You're from the--the future?”
“Oh, I'm from worse than the future. I'm from another dimension. This isn't the Earth I grew up with, though I have to say this one's a lot more fun.”
“I--but--how can you—”
“I wouldn't worry too much about it, dear,” she said, pulling another pick from the packet at her belt. “How I got here was complicated enough, and I can only hope the way's still open when we're done here. I wouldn't want to get stuck on the wrong side, I've still got a few things left to do and more than that, I hope.”
_
“You don't seem to understand. There is no negotiating with that thing. There is no helping it, there is nothing left to do but kill it before it calls more of them down on us and dooms the Earth. It has no emotion, none at all save for an ingrained and impenetrable hatred for all things that are not Dalek. If we don't stop it right here, right now, it could very well mean the end of the world.”
“You're... actually serious.” He glanced at the security feed again, staring at the weird little domed robot. It didn't look like much of a threat. If he was being honest with himself it looked kind of ridiculous, with the lines of half-spheres down its sides and the plunger and whisk-like instruments hanging limply from its front. Even its dome top was a little strange. But Dr. Song looked deathly serious when she talked about it, and given how she'd been proven right so far tonight, he was starting to think it would be a good idea to listen to her.
“All right. What do we do?”
“Follow my lead,” she replied as she keyed the entry code into the door. “And aim for the eyepiece.”
-
There was a deafening bang, then a silence. “Is everyone all right?” River called. “Any injuries?”
The nos came slowly, and soon they were all getting to their feet in the wreckage of the lab. The broken shell of the Dalek was sizzling faintly, and Artemis smelled something acrid under the scent of hot metal and spilled chemicals. She coughed as she got to her feet.
“So is it dead?” she asked.
“Yes,” River replied. “It should—” She paused suddenly, turning back towards the door with a frown on her face.
Artemis heard it after a moment--a low, wheezing, groaning sound that seemed to be coming from everywhere. She readied an arrow as the others scrambled into ready stances, but what happened next was... strange.
The wheezing sound grew louder, and a wind blew through the lab, scattering the remains of their battle. And against the wall, fading in and out slowly, was a tall blue box with a light at the top.
The box materialized completely, and the wheezing stopped with a low thrum. The box had two doors on the front, and a sign across the top that read "Police Public Call Box," though Artemis had no idea what that might be.
Then the door opened, and a tall young man in a bow tie and tweed jacket stuck his head out. He glanced at all of them briefly, but his eyes ended on River. "Hello, dear," he said, a little nervously.
River folded her arms. "And what sort of time do you call this?" She glanced at the team. "You all can stand down," she said. "This is an old and impossibly tardy friend of mine."
Does Illya accidentally shock Napoleon when he stands on the pedal?
I think it’s very possible that he did accidentally shock Solo because Solo’s hand was still on the chair when Illya stepped on the [pedal], and Solo was like, “do ya mind!?”
Are there any fics of Illya picking out the rest of Gaby's wardrobe after Solo peaces out? Or like anything where they're doing something fashion related together, because that is something I didn't know I needed until just now lmao.
I vaguely reading one like that back in 2015, but I can’t remember what it was called or who wrote it… Maybe someone who follows this blog remembers? I’ll have to dig for it later. Now that you have me thinking about it, I want to read that fic as well!
I imagine a few dishes that Solo cooks and enjoys range from seafood pasta to spicy cold noodles.
He is quite the chef so he probably loves variety!
Gaby would probably endearingly troll her fan base over her novels, whether the events were real or will the main couple ever kiss???
She would! And then, at the end of the novel, the two characters have expressed their love for each other, are about to kiss, the fans turn the page and…. Nothing. The book ends.
I can also imagine Illya playing 20+ instruments.
I’m sure he could :)
Detective show of retired Gaby solving mysteries in her small town as she lives with Illya. Napoleon sometimes is a guest in the show to visit them and usually brings trouble with him, which Illya hates.
PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME. Restless Gaby has to solve crimes, while Illya just wants to live in peace and quiet, stay home and read books.
"#why did he need to wash his hands after what Rudi said?" I think he was trying to clear them out of the bathroom so he could destroy it in a rage fit but then they wouldn't leave so he destroyed them instead!
I hadn’t think about that, that he would want to destroy the place… hmmm gotta think about that now….
all i’m gonna say is watching hannibal get his ass beat again was the best time of my life until he looked like a hurt little puppy and i felt bad so now i’m conflicted cause he deserves it but fuck man he looked so sad
