Made a quick capsule wardrobe for Elsa (the recent Hasbro one. No articulation, but she’s cute. She also belongs to my niece, but they don’t make fashion packs for her so Auntie to the rescue)
I like how they turned out. I’ll post some pics of her in them in the next few days probably. I used the Medium Girl Petite Princess Pack from @requiemart and it fits pretty well. I need to mess with the upper darts because Elsa has a very high bosom. But my niece won’t notice. Attempted to make pants using the Petite Basics pack, but Elsa has a lot more junk in the trunk than a petite Barbie, apparently. Going to add some fabric to the hips and try again.
All in all, I loved making a set of pieces to mix and match. This is the first set of clothes that I hand sewed (except for the bottom hems of the dresses) and I really enjoyed the process much more than making doll clothes by machine. My machine sewing skills just aren’t good enough to do 1/6 scale very comfortably yet. And I’ve decided that’s ok.
