11/8/17 @sitwithmerescue Introducing the most beautiful girl: Olivia! Olivia was a stray that had been spotted numerous times. A good samaritan set out a plan to catch her and successfully brought her in to the shelter. Olivia sends this wonderful person much thanks! Olivia is a lab/mastiff mix and is a sweetheart, eager to love, but after her days on the run (and her body tells the story of some neglect) she takes a brief moment before she leans in and cuddles. We are happy to give her that time because when she loves ya, you are IN! Olivia needs some vet attention to tend to her skin issues and will hopefully soon be looking for a loving home. Pros and cons of living in a foster home
Pros: -There’s always enough food -I feel safe -I have a room -People knock before entering -I don’t have to buy my own clothes/hygienics/food - I can follow my diet and no-one’s making any comments -No-one complains about me using my phone too much -No-one complains about stimming -Everyone’s nice -Staff’s nice -Adults respect me -Adults listen to me -People spend time with me - I can sleep well - I feel comfortable - I can spend my money how I like - I don’t have to worry about stuff - I don’t have to see my abuser - No-one’s complaining about me staying inside - No-one’s forcing me to do stuff
