when adam was planning on how he would propose to you he probably had at least a few drafts of ideas of what he wanted to say (26 pieces of paper to be precise)

but when the moment came and he got down on his knee, all he could get out was “marry me,”

that man worships you like he had never been so devoted before in his life (or afterlife)

Mans absolutely had an entire speech, one he practiced daily up to the point he could propose.

Then Reader starstruck him and he caved immediately with the first prayer and thought on his mind.

(He's definitely showing reader his devotion later, if you know what I meannnnnnn)
