To the anon complaining about the person they don't like sharing their f/o, that's very relatable. I feel that way about certain doubles. I get anxious about people I don't like also sharing my doubles. It makes it hard to enjoy my ship.

Responding to that one guy saying shipping jazzwave but criticsing jazzprowl is hypocritical.
I don't ship either but it feels like your purposefully missing the point of the criticisms and taking it personally. Jazzprowl is criticised because shippers write/draw it with weird racial undertones. Not every jazzprowl shipper does it but there's enough of it to put someone off the ship.
For it to be hypocritical would mean there's similar problem with jazzwave at a similar extent.

man lowkey? that dude who responded to that one guy so aggressively who was like "engage in more transformers media!" really needs to calm tf down broooo
Like. someone saying "it'd be cool if more people learned about other continuities" and you were like "NO I WILL FUCKING NOT ITS NOT SCHOOL" like broooo who the fuck shit in your cereal that morning
.
Response to the last windscream confession. It's fine not to like it, doesn't mean you need to throw hate at fans for just liking it. Have the decency to not be weird about people, or to at least not vent in the tags or directly at people's faces. If it really is such a run-of-the-mill and boring ship, why don't you do some soul-searching as to why it pisses you off so much that some people enjoy it. Because if you truly believed it, you won't be having such strong childish reaction. Honestly, windscream doesn't do anything other TF ships don't, the "I can fix him", as boring I agree it is, is present in almost any other popular Starscream ship and many windscream doesn't even go there. Anyone who insists non-canon ships are canon is annoying, as you pointed out, and it's not exclusive to them either. Not being canon or plausible never stopped anyone, especially TF fans. I just think it's so weird this one of all ships gets this type of attention. There are so many beautiful arts and interesting fics with them just as much as there is "boring overused trope", just like any ship. idk, I've liked many ships of various variations, some that also included these two, in m/m and f/f, but it's this ship that gets me told to 'kms'. They are space robots, damn.
.
the anon who said they prefer the human and transformer side of the franchise is so real like FUCK YEAH I LOVE INTERSPECIES RELATIONSHIPS OF ANY KIND I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF IT 💥💥💥💥
.
Note: I understand anon is venting, but I'm taking this moment to defend myself from a generalization:
I ship Jazzprowl and am a Prowl Liker (specifically prefer the G1 version who is logical, but patient and not unkind). I also have more Jazz ships than Prowl ships. Jazz/Blaster, Jazz/Soundwave, Jazz/Blaster/Soundwave (because I do consider that to be a different dynamic than the previous two), JazzOp, ect. For Prowl? Jazz is the only person I tend to ship him with romantically (I much prefer his platonic dynamics! I'm a fan of the Datsuns being close, especially, as well as having Chip being Prowl's designated Human Friend)
All this to say: I don't ship characters just to glaze one. If I ship something, it's because I love all of the characters involved!
.
"hey guys i think you need to watch other transformers shows aside from tfp or tfa or like read some bios bc some of these random canon facts are fun to know"
"god youre such a pretentious ass let people enjoy things"
pancakes and waffles type shit
.
"i genuinely need it explained to me how a character being an abuse victim is even remotely subjective"
sub·jec·tive [səbˈjektiv] based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. Personal feelings - the person personally feels like Starscream isn't an abuse victim, based on their view of the given contexts, their own experiences, and what they feel makes a victim in a narrative Tastes - the person prefers characterizations of Starscream that don't try to victimize him, or does not like discussions that try to reinforce the victim Starscream narrative Opinion - the person's opinion is that Starscream is not a victim
