As it turns out, no chemo today after all. I got a call from my doctor late yesterday afternoon informing me that my platelets are super low, which means, basically, my body is completely run down and unable to tolerate another round today. The last three weeks HAVE been tough, different than the previous three rounds. I never really felt much better this time. So I have another week to recover. Then another blood draw next Monday to see where I am. If I have improved, it’ll be round 5 in a week. #atlonglastheard #exactythesamebutdifferent #breastcancer #cancersucks #lowplatelets #restingup (at Ventura, California)
