Being away from my parents is hard but it makes me incredibly appreciative of people who are that much more older to me and that much more wiser. 

It’s just really reassuring to gain some insight from people who’ve dealt with things that you’re facing now, that sometimes just seems so big or far. It gives me hope that I can overcome hurdles and gracefully too.

I don't like diving.

I am doing a first look...but for the first time..alone today for a couple in Pasadena, CA. Oh, boy I am just a little nervous to say the least. It is probably because I have built it to be something a lot bigger than it has to be in my head. Catching the grooms tears as he sees bride walk down the isle for the very first time isn't that stressful because the ceremony... Ultimately is out of your control; however, a first look is definitely within your realms of control. Its up to you to make it "magical", to make it "that one moment." I have shot a first look, but I didn't direct it. That was left up to my sister. Today I am on my own. I am nervous. I am excited. I will dive in head first.
