Meet the heroes of the stories Yellow Rose Productions has to offer.

Aries Dane from Status: Take Flight! - A  farm girl with sharp skills in flying and wit, who wants to find the answers to her father’s disappearance and some how make her world better despite the situation it is in.

Ethan MacNamara from Heritage - A sea loving young merman who has a tendency to find trouble and gets into quite the shenanigans around the Monterrey Bay area.

Avalon Zamora from Resurrection Retribution - A rogue elf with skills in alchemy and all kinds of magic who desperately wants to find his way home and redeem himself for committing an act that was horrible enough to anger a goddess.

Vala Lennox from Elemental Archer - An earth elf from a world known as Wisp, who is skilled with the bow and has a sharp eye in regards to hunting. She quite enjoys her life and will do anything for her home, even if it means accepting a fate she isn’t quite too sure she is ready for.

Joseph Frost from Glitch Pulse - A tech savvy programmer with quite the mind and maybe just a little too much time on his hands. While he leads a normal life of being tech security for a game company during the day, it’s during the night things get interesting in a world that’s closer to ours than we think

Antoni Casimir from Wing Time - An AP Middle School Teacher who only wants the best for his students and best for the time stream. Balancing crazy kids and Time Keeper duties, Antoni certainly has his hands full but it’s nothing he can’t handle.

Kosuke Okamura from The Phoenix - A young man who is trying to make his way through art school despite having his whole life turned upside down by a horrible accident. New powers and another identity, Kosuke is doing his best to move forward and he’s getting better every day.

Edmond Wilkinson from Don’t Make Deals with Demons - A hard working manufactory worker of a small town known as Halitus who dreams of one day opening his own shop to sell his inventions along with many other things. Life takes an interesting turn however when he’s pressured into a deal with a being he thought he’d never meet.

And there shall be many more to come but for now this is our main roster. We really look forward to telling all their stories to you guys. Stay tuned!

If you could describe your OCs with a song, which one would it be?

I’ve always associated “The Humming” by Enya with Celestica. It just sounds like a song fitting a goddess.

“And all the light, will be, will be, and on all the future prophecy…” It’s very calming and it’s actually on my playlist for EA.

The insanity that is Eiji’s life, I’d go with “The Greatest Show” mainly for one line in particular:

“Colossal we come these renegades in the ring! Where the lost get found and we crown ‘em the circus kings!” I can’t go into too much detail WHY that fits yet, buuut that line in particular and the song in general screams the lovable goof that is Eiji Miyamoto.

Avalon, I actually associate the cover by Sedgeie of Ready as I’ll Ever Be. Avalon at first is not a man you want to root for. His story really is of realizing “It’s not all about me” and learning to let go of his vices. 

As for Vala… I actually don’t have a song specifically for her.

Halloween 2018

So, finally got my BJD’s set up for Halloween... I probably need to be banned from buying more Halloween stuff. Even with my miniatures I go all out.

Wanted to take a before pic, with the miniatures before the littles got added. Their spider steed, their altar of magic, their haunted pumpkin, all kinds of little cute things.

My larger dolls don’t get left out either. (Fun fact, I have TWO of those black couldrons. I was convinced I didn’t have one - SO I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE)

The table, with a mini table cloth included.... NOW ONTO THE MAIN EVENT. LETS ADD SOME RESIN TO THIS

Vala’s looking after the kids, while trying to be nice to Avalon (for the kids sake she tells herself. It’s for the kids.) (And she’s still trying not to seethe that the twin ten year olds are as tall as her)

“Look big brother! I got a shirt like your cool shirt!”

“And look at my dress!”

“Good choices, both of you. You look great!”

“Way too cute!”

(Kazumi’s.. old outfit just was not gonna work this year and I liked her ‘default’ duds too much so I swapped out the shoes and added the hat.)

So Halloween’s also the time where the veil is most thin... Maybe I could try something...

“Hey, you ever held a seance?”

“Seance?”

“It could be fun.”

“I’m gone five seconds and you’re encouraging him.”

“I’m his girlfriend, and I wasn’t encouraging necromancy!”

“Suuuure.”

“We’re gonna get candy right? Right?”

“Sure are kiddo’s.”

I finished Kazumi’s outfit for her character. Kazumi is definitely more of the gothic side.. Among other things, so it felt only right to give her some clothes that fit that. In a contrast to Noah I wanted to utualize only dark colors except for her silver necklace. 

Now, Kazumi is scrawny as all get out. She’s a slim MSD (but all of mine are tbh) so getting things to fit on her just right can take some coaxing. Namely with the handy dandy cinch band I made out of black elastic. Some coaxing and tugging and we have a nice fit.

I sewed black lace by hand to the bottom of the hem to give it a more dramatic feel and I’m happy with it... I just REEAALLY hate working with delicate lace.

I’m undecided about her little mini pony on the side of her head. I think it’s cute but not sure if it makes her look younger. She’s supposed to be 18.

She’s a college student living in the same place as Noah does when her life takes a turn for the strange. Namely because she does love sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong, due to having strange experiences all her life. Avalon is living breathing proof that there is something out there... And in time, she felt herself falling for him as well.

All in all I’m happy with her.

BJD Christmas. I love decorating my dolls for the holidays and I love taking pics of them when it’s all set up like this. It’s so much fun.
