I disagree with the notion that Pokémon is a kids game and that making it easier is okay because of this. The franchise is over 20 years old and a big portion of its original fan base not only grew up with it but continued playing or, partially thanks to the success of Pokémon Go, are returning to the franchise. Hell the first major promo I've seen for the game featured such a fan, an adult returning to the franchise. So making easier because kids is just a silly argument. Not mention I think idea that games for kids being easy is retarded. We play games because they challenge us and we enjoy the challenge. If they were easy they wouldn't be fun. So yeah I think adding a move effectiveness message is retarded and lazy.
