There is an unmatched, unhinged energy to early 1980s marketing. Kohler decided that the best way to sell high-end gold bathroom fixtures was to create a surrealist fever dream. Why is there a woman in a pink one-piece swimsuit and a magician's top hat squatting in the middle of a desert wasteland at twilight? Why is she holding a purple glittering disc on a string? We may never know, but it sure makes you want to remodel your bathroom into a surreal art gallery.

Esther Williams and Frances Gifford. The stuff that dreams (at least mine) are made of.

Finished the Elster "cosplay", I upped the face texture from 64x64 to 72x72 for this which worked out perfectly because I had space to spare to add the ears. I'd be tempted to see if I could extract some weapons to do some poses with but who needs that when the Android base model has gun hands.
Feeling quite inspired to do 3d stuff recently!! I am now in 3d!!!
This one is considerably more accurate to the retro style, and I tried to make a very simple environment and animation too. Also I learned you can make Blender render crispy low res videos and images, which helps a lot with the aesthetic. Quite happy with the results of this one!!
