Saying what ships people should ship. Saying what ship is more ‘canon’ than another, sending death threats over ships. Sending DEATH THREATS over ships. Not tagging your ships so they get shoved in people’s faces.

Let people ship what they want. We’re all on the fucking internet writing about fake fucking people and so long as they’re not glorifying abuse, illegal activities, or bad morality, then let them explore. I write about a 50-something old white dude jacked up on Captain Rogers esque shit despite being a disabled home-bound 24-year-old with a desk job.

Let them write about whatever they want because writing is an exploration. Shit should be tagged properly and as inaccessible to the wrong crowd, but people are allowed to write what they want until this site collapses in on itself and on to the inevitable heat death of the universe.

I feel like a lot are pretty open. Personally, I haven’t experienced a lot that aren’t big on newcomers or whatever, but most fandoms have the seedy, weird underbelly of fucking shithouses who ruin things for everyone.
